So... apparently a large consumer electronics company will be teasing/revealing a new videogame-related product tonight (self site-pimpage, sorry) on MTV on Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. The episode that airs tonight at 9:30PM ET/6:30PM PT.

Can't really say much about it yet except that it's something sort of unexpected.

I'm sure there would have be some sort of thread afterwards, so getting it out of the way now. I'm pretty curious to see the NeoGAF reactions, hah. Should be interesting.

Wow.

A completely non-informational announcement of an announcement!

I love how this meta-game is playing out. What's the next step?

And I'm all out of pizza.

His interactions with Peach are what cemented the R-rating, don't let anyone tell you it was the gore.

Lets make baseless speculations of off beat choices!

I am placing bets on ether Panasonic, AMD, or IBM trying to make their own game system. Double bets on AMD though, since they have all the tech under their roof to do so.l

Or it could just be the new PSP

When I first read the title, I though this is gonna be a thread mocking the whole "announcement of an announcement" trend :lol . Anyway, I'll bring my popcorn. I recon this might be interesting.

Oh I wish it was! :lol

Pro-tip: Don't set your expectations high, though it's definitely something I wouldn't have expected.

Maytag's finally dipping into the video game console scene.
The current gen consoles wish they could tout a figure like the Maytag Repairman.

I shit you not, I thought up of this a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking more of a beat-em-up like the Scott Pilgrim game, where the guidos fight to take back the Garden State from Trash Bags and her gang.

I'd pay money to play that.
