Games didn't have day one patches.
No DRM
No micro transactions.
Free to just entertain and express.
Games today are certainly good and certainly not without merit.
But it all seems like a corporate gear these days.
It feels like a lot of studios want to get their name out as opposed to creating something weird and fun.
"Oh cool. GTA3 is now 3D?"
"Oh they remastered GTA Trilogy?
What's wrong with it?
What songs have they removed?"
I don't think i'll ever been as entertained as I was when I discovered Gitaroo man or Hogs of war
