In case anyone was curious as to what it's probably like having a conversation with God Almighty...

Summer Breeze has been highlighted in my descriptions of The Vision of the Holy Guardian Angel when pointing out data suggesting midsummer as a correspondence for successful attunement.

Gamma Ray - Induction/Dethrone Tyranny - No World Order
[Power Metal] - 2001

Induction:

[Verse 1]
Illuminati
You've come to take control
You can take my heartbeat
But you can't break my soul
We all shall be free

[Verse 2]
Illuminati
You'll never take control
Your new world order
Will lead to none at all

[Outro]
We all stand before you as one
Heaven is for everyone
To be free from the dark

Dethrone Tyranny:

[Intro]
All right!

[Verse 1]
Someone is out there; he's watching what I do
From far in the distance, his eyes everywhere
I look around me; there's no one that I see
But still, I feel someone's controlling my mind

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Save your breath and run
You can't escape the one

[Chorus 1]
Time has come, the world lies dying
Our faith has gone, our souls are crying
Resurrecting paradise, cry for freedom
Killing pain, a million lies
Dethrone tyranny

[Verse 2]
Forces of evil, they never surrender
Sooner or later, the dark era comes

[Pre-Chorus 2]
Crying man on the run
He's searching for freedom
But there will be none

[Chorus 1]
Time has come, the world lies dying
Our faith has gone, our souls are crying
Resurrecting paradise, cry for freedom
Killing pain, a million lies
Dethrone tyranny

[Bridge]
And as the world is dying slowly in our hands
We'll ask for reasons until the bitter end
Who brings us all the sadness?
Who brings us all the fear?
Who spreads disease and misery
And steals our destiny?

A poisoned heart of anger
Sowing the seeds of pain
All see the darkened skyline
And feel the deadly reign

[Chorus 2]
Time has come, the world lies dying
Our faith has gone, our souls are crying
Resurrecting paradise, cry for freedom
Killing pain, a million lies
To hell with tyranny

And then on our next date
Well, you could bring your room mate
I don't know if Stu is keen too
But if you want we could double team you

How 'bout you and two dudes
Him, you and Stu in the nude
Being lude with two dudes with food
Well, that's if Stu's into it too

All the thing I'd do, things I'd do for you
If I only knew that's what you're into

the new paramore album and it fucking sucks. it's like actually so bad that i don't even want to listen to the singles (this is why/c'est comme ca/the news) or any paramore song anymore. it's so boring and rubs me the wrong way. i don't think i've ever had an album put me off an artist so much before lol.

i tried listening to it the day it came out and i turned it off about 6 songs in. i'm trying to give it another shot but i can't. the entire album is 36mins so quite short.

I am so ready for a new Decemberists album. I love the darkness of Colin's writing.

Beware the wild rushes, my mother told me
That grow on the bank side along the salt sea
But I being young, I heeded her none
So to the wild rushes the wind carried me

The summer was here and the sun it was high
And to the wild rushes I came by and by
And there took my seat and dipped in my feet
And through the wild rushes, a voice sweetly cried, ah

Come down, my little darling, come closer to me
The water is warm, it is salty and free
I long for your touch, but I won't ask too much
And I, being foolish, walked in to my knees

Come down, little darling, and lay at my breast
Oh, come a little closer and I'll do the rest
I waited so long for a lover to come
And I, being foolish, walked in to my chest, ah, ah

Come down, my little darling, oh farther come in
For deeper the water, the sweeter the sin
My lily lies here, if you'd only draw near
And I, being foolish, went in to my chin

Oh come, my little darling, do you feel my cool breath?
Do you feel my arms around you so warm and so wet?
Swept from my feet, she pulled me beneath
And in the wild rushes, I went to my death

One of my favorite albums of all time by one of my favorite bands of all time. I love a concept album, interweaving narrative across tracks. Pure bliss. Manchester Orchestra hit all the rights notes for me on this release (and several others). I love the intro song, Maze, and then the transition into this one, which is a major highlight of the album.

Couldn't really love you any more
You've become my ceiling
I don't think I love you anymore
That gold mine changed you
You don't have to hold me anymore
Our cave's collapsing
I don't wanna be me anymore
My old man told me
"You don't open your eyes for a while
You just breathe that moment down."

I'm obsessed with songs that crescendo over the duration of the track. This one gives me goosebumps. Perfect ending to a perfect album.

You can go anywhere but you are where you came from
Little girl, you are cursed by my ancestry
There is nothing but darkness and agony
I can not only see, but you stopped me from blinking
Let me watch you as close as a memory
Let me hold you above all the misery
Let me open my eyes and be glad that I got here

I haven't listened to Manchester Orchestra in years. I loved them at one point. I don't even remember the name of the album or the songs I was into. Might need to check them out again.

A Black Mile to the Surface, The Million Masks of God, and Simple Math are my favorites of theirs. All 3 are perfect IMO.

You dropped off right when their sound really evolved and elevated. I still enjoy the older albums but their newer output is next level.

The intensity of the song around the 2:20 mark :messenger_weary:

I'll save those albums to my spotify to give them a listen. Not sure why I stopped listening to them lol I think they might have been the reason I got into Frightened Rabbit. They had a similar sound I think at least back in ~2009 so probably Spotify threw up FRabbit for me to listen to. I'm a pathetic scottish person finding out about scottish bands on spotify lol. If it wasn't for spotify I'd not have got into Frabbit or Chvrches lol.

I really like this one!
