Probably mostly Xbox 360 stuff this weekend. I picked up Kameo on thursday and just downloaded Marble Blast Ultra, although I also need to get back to Shin Onimusha and SS Tenkaichi on the PS2. Haven't played Tekken 5 in a while, but I want to start playing it in the arcade, so I might throw that in to get some practice with Asuka.

Thinking of switching to the new female character, though...she seems pretty effective. Same with Dragonov.

We have the cards in the US. We just can't use cell phones to buy items. It's possible they are waiting untill they are absolutely sure the game is finished and bug free before bringing it here. There's already been an updated version B of DR in Japan.

From what I've seen Asuka wasn't weakend at all.

I started three DS games today: Kirby Canvas Curse, Polarium, and Feel the Magic. They're cute, but having tried them once each, honestly, I have no desire whatsoever to continue. I'll probably trade them in to pay off Grandia III.

traded in some stuff (including two SPs) for a Micro, Harmony of Dissonance, and Metal Slug Advance. dpad and buttons are nice, but its a little too small in my hands and the triggers will take some getting used to. Better for the action games but the SP+ still beats it for the rpgs.

Are ya sensing a theme here? It's been a VERY Street Fighter-y weekend in the mossy household.

Incidentally, I've once again rekindled my love for the original Street Fighter Alpha. Oh the memories of the countless days spent playing it on my Saturn. Yeah, yeah, there aren't enough backgrounds, but damnit, the gameplay isn't all complex higgeldy piggeldy. (Not to say I'm so crazy that I can't admit that SFZ2 and 3 are vastly superior, since 2 was 10 kinds of cool and 3 added more charas and the guard crush)

And, I swear to God, the classic SF2's in the PSX Collection are better than the ones in the PS2 Capcom Classics. I know they used the same code, but on the PSX the graphics aren't filtered or in need of a manual re-size.

I made a long gaming session this weekend.

Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones : One of the best action adventures I ever played. It looks beautyful, plays fantastic and is even better than PoP:WW (which was better than PoP:SoT)
Perfect Dark Best Ego-Shooter ever. btw: PD>GE
Zelda: Majoras Mask Best Zelda ever and without question one of the best games of all time.
Donkey Kong Country 2 Best DK game!
Super Metroid 2D gaming can't get any better than this!

I have been hooked to GT4 for nearly 3 entire weeks. Hooked the driving wheel and playing with a 32" set is like playing a real car...

I have both ICO and GOW waiting...but GT4 is too good

Nothing but GC for now. My PS2 crashed and burned on me again. I bought the slim model last march and it stopped working around september. They sent me another one and now this one messed up about two weeks ago. Luckily it fucked up now before my one year warranty would end. :lol Fucking sony. Enough rambling.

Finally beat that bastard Samurai Goroh in story mode on very hard. Had this game for a while but played it on and off because it's hardcore. Looks oh so lovely in 480P and widescreen.

This game has the ugliest main character of all the pokemon games. What the hell were they thinking. The game is fun though. I'm really enjoying myself and the 3d battles are somewhat slow but everything is smooth. It starts off slow as hell, but in 10 hours or so it really picks up. Addicting.

It's been about a year since I've last touched it. Wow. This game rocks hard today as it did a year ago. That's all there is to say.

And a little nostalgia/old school to the mix. Playing this with the hori controller.
