What do you have reserved?

Nothing. I don't reserve unless I'm getting some kind of really nice preorder bonus, for two reasons: 1) I like reading impressions at the last minute, between the ship date and when it actually arrives in stores nearby me, to make sure I'm not wasting my money, and 2) except for some huge games like Twilight Princess, generally the only place to reserve games is the likes of Gamestop or EB, where they overcharge.

First time I preordered anything, but you won Konami, you broke me. Already GameStop reserved.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence LE
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360)
World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

As soon as it is available, I am definitely reserving the Revolution and the PS3. I am also thinking about reserving Ghost Recon AW and Gears of War.

Suikoden V
Baten Kaitos II
Disgaea 2 LE
Ibara
Devil Summoner PS2
FFXII
Tengai Makyou Ziria
A.C.E.2
Tales of the Tempest
Mother 3
Ookami
DQ Yangus
Ninety Nine Nights

Still on the fence about Children of Mana but I'll probably end up falling for it.

All paid off as well. Sad yes, but shit, all I do is play games. No weed, no alcohol, no nothing. Just gaming baby

I've had Twilight Princess on reserve since like September '05 now. :(

April '05 for me. Funny thing is I haven't paid any more on it at all. Just the routine five for the reserve.

hate the cover, love the series..... i bought WE8 in august 2004 and this will be my first real experience with WE9..... what a long wait....

I reserved a bunch of games on January 2: Grandia III, Drakengard 2, Shadow Hearts: From the New World, Suikoden V, Metal Saga, Odama, and Zelda: Twilight Princess. I might rethink Metal Saga and Odama, especially if there are no pre-order bonuses.

Why does everyone pay off/reserve games so much? I can understand if the release is limited, or the preorder bonus is cool, but many of you preorder/prepay common releases months in advance... do you like giving money away?

I never used to. In my case, I just realized that I tend to go spend-happy whenever I see a game that's vaguely interesting from anywhere in the last 5 years' catalog at a good price. In extreme cases I've bought 50 games in a single month. I think that pre-ordering a select few games and sticking to them could actually be easier on my wallet, but it remains to be seen if my experiment pans out.

i don't usually preorder domestic games, but:

mgs3 subsistence
radilgy
ibara
under defeat

wow: the burning crusade (sad of me to preorder it when it won't be out for like 5 more years with blizz's development rate, but hey, may as well get it when it comes out)

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I perserved it when it still looked good. I'll sit on it and ride it out. If it turns out to be shit, then I'll just move to another game

Subsistence (edition unknown... whichever that is in the Canadian EB database for $59.99) w/wo bonus? dunno
- Gotta go make sure I am getting the limited edition some time later.

That's about it, I don't reserve games much anymore unless there is some special trade-in promo or something or there is some pre-order bonus I really want. On a non-game related note, I do have some Totoro statue/toy reserved though. :D

I don't usually preorder stuff (not much point in Japan, where all new releases are readily available on release day), but I've put money down for FFXII so I can get the free iTunes Music Store card. I'll get around to preordering a DSlite and CoM soon. I'm kind of holding out for a bundle announcement though ;)

Same. It is pretty popular in my neighborhood apparently b/c I got the last copy out of twenty last year literally the afternoon it came out, so I didn't take chances this year though otherwise I almost never pre-order.
