What games do you want to see come to Nintendo Switch?

It matters to me. In my case you're right, I use it mostly on the TV, but I really like the versatility. So although it is mostly a Home Console to me there are games which are more fun on the go.

At this point anything ported to the switch is gonna be choppy to say the least.

What would be nice though is if Nintendo gave us an incentive to buy in on their online service. At the moment it's still a joke, Like where are the GBA & DS titles?

Because people have fixed incomes and would rather a game be released on a device they already own than spend $400 on a new platform?

A lot of people have already spent $200-$350 on a Switch and $300-$500 on a current gen console. There's a limit to what many people can and/or want to spend on hardware, especially in the midst of serious inflation and economic uncertainty.

Blizzard needs to release a "greatest hits" collection. Warcraft , Warcraft ll , StarCraft 1 and 2 , Diablo, maybe Lost Vikings series . Release for all systems as well. They would sell well. Also need to ditch or make battlenet optional so I can play offline if I want.

Hopefully they come up with something after the merger goes through.

Xenoblade Chronicles X - make the series complete on a single console
Kid Icarus Uprising - I still remember being in awe when they showed the trailer at E3 2010 or something but I never got around to actually buy it.
Odin Sphere - would love to have a portable version of this game
Drakengard 3 - loved that game but it could use a performance boost, and portability is always a plus
Skies of Arcadia Legends - my favorite GameCube RPG and I would give a kidney to see this on a modern system, and again, the portability is a plus in an RPG

Also, new games in series like Wave Race and 1080. Honestly, I could go on an on but I'll never even play all the games that are out right now, let alone, stuff this is yet to release. If anything, I need more time :P
 
Also, I love how people are stupid enough to think that a Steam Deck is a proper replacement for a Switch simply because it is more powerful. It's not. I like the thing, I might even get one some day myself, but it will never replace my Switch because it doesnt offer the same. It's like saying a PC is a proper replacement for a PS5 or XSX.

I just asked a simple question, no need for all that huffin and puffin. I didn't mention emulation, most of the 3rd party games being mentioned in this thread run on steam deck and run very well.

I don't understand the port begging when another handheld exist that does everything you're asking for. The truth is these devs aren't going out of their way to make miracles ports of all these games on almost 6 year old hardware at this point. This might as well just be a fantasy thread because the only way these games are being ported to switch is through cloud streaming

You can't get physical copies of games on the Steam Deck. Also the price of the Switch is less then the Steam Deck.

As for games, I wish Namco would put Soul Calibur 1 and 2 on the Switch. Also the Tekken Tag team that was on the Wii u. I would like to see either Street Fighter 5 or Ultra Street Fighter 4 on the Switch.
 
None really, just Nintendo exclusives.

I've been burnt too many times picking up a Switch version of a game that's available on other platforms. It's ALWAYS the case that the Switch version has worse frame rate (lucky to even get a solid 30 on many games) and/or the resolution is extremely low, barely HD. And don't even get me started on the textures. So now I only play Nintendo exclusives on the machine. I left a 300hour Monster Hunter Rise save and moved from Switch to PC when Sunbreak came out. 100% worth it. If there's a PC or a PlayStation version of a game that's on Switch, the other systems will always run it better and it will look better.

Don't get me wrong tho, I enjoy the Switch. Mario Kart 8 is tons of fun and i bought the DLC tracks. Between my gf and I we own many of the Nintendo exclusive games like BOTW, various Pokémon games, Pikimin, 3D World+Bowser, Metroid Dread, and others I'm just not thinking of at the moment. And *those* games run fine. But just seems like those are the only games that do.

Yeah but games on steam are way cheaper than nintendo, even their used physical games.

I'd take a port of the Mobile version (where it's sadly hostage) but if they were to remaster it in any way I'd be so pleased.


As for my own port begging contribution, I'd really enjoy Dragons Crown on Switch.
