Mass Effect 2 easily, best of the new format bioware dialog wheel games. While I still miss the infinity engine stuff, I still enjoyed the hell out of this. The last RPG I think I replayed fully after completion.

Darksiders is also notable, it's my favorite 3d zelda style game.

This was a really disappointing year in games for me personally. It was when GoW finally bucked me, I'm one of those rare people who thinks RDR is not the second coming, and nmh2 really hurt... Such high hopes.

Peace Walker, considering how it's one of the few games I know I've pumped close to 200 hours into and it sits at the number 2 spot in my top 10 games of all-time.

2010 was a big year for me though. Alan Wake, Red Dead & Super Meat Boy are also in my top 10. Mass Effect 2 was in that list as well for the longest time. And Heavy Rain is one of my biggest inspirations as a creative.

But New Vegas, Halo: Reach, God of War 3. Holy smokes, what a year.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The first numbered KH game since KH2 that was meant for the PS2 but things happened so it released on PSP. It delivered on so many levels.
