after phase 4 of avengers its probably xmen and fantastic four reboot trilogies and another spider-man reboot trilogy on repeat for the next 30 years.

Outside of superhero movies, what else has been getting a lot of buts in seats at theaters anyway? I was under the impression that attendance was on the decline for a lot of genres and superhero flicks were doing a lot of the heavy lifting to keep people going to movies.

Also manga/anime adaptations.

20th Century Boys would make a cool mini-series.

Music of Marie a good movie or animation.

Kinos of this nature for sure.

Zombie / human romance dramas in the style of twilight :messenger_astonished:🤮🤮🤮

Or Vampire / zombie, or werewolf / zombie.
Anyway, it will be something boring and painful to watch.

I can't see anything taking over super heroes. Look back on action movie history and you'll see that barely any action films made anywhere near as much money as superhero movies have.

https://www.the-numbers.com/box-office-records/international/all-movies/genres/action

Look at this list, in the top 100 grossing action films, only 32 of them make over 500 million world wide.
Out of that 16 of them are super hero movies, 3 are Jurassic Park, 3 are Fast and the Furious, 2 are Transformers and 2 are James Bond.
Action movies have never realistically done "that well" in comparison to what super hero movies are doing these days.

Read or Die would be perfect considering people supposedly want more female driven stories.

Yomiko Readman, the protagonist, is like a better version of the "female Doctor Who" idea than the actual female Doctor Who.
