What's your internet speed and how much do you pay?

Cox keeps changing shit (always increasing - they keep changing their tiers and how much they offer them for), but last I checked it was 120/25 for $81.99 US. New customers probably get it for less because you know how virtual monopolies do.

40 bucks and I'm averaging 24mbps download right now, and that's a good day. Most of the time it's not anywhere near that.

Internet fucking sucks here.

200 down....about 10-20 up I think.

Texas, USA

$130 with the highest tv package including all premium channels.

All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
I pay a ridiculous $120 a month for AT&T U-Verse. 75 down with no data cap and no TV plans. The latter two is what raised the price up so much.

35€/month for FTTC in Italy.

It's a very good compromise of price and performance, i can watch 4k stuff and do a very nice looking twitch stream without breaking the bank.

Finland 100/100 ~40 euros. Includes local iptv channels.

Problem is that the price has been pretty much the same over a decade now.

Comcast just bumped my rates up:

$75 a month for 25Mbps.

$75 a month for 25Mbps.

I'm downgrading to 10 Mbps for $50 a month.

My apartment contract has an exclusivity deal with Comcast, so I literally can't get 'high-speed' internet from anyone else. Internet works terrible too; Can't even stream 1080p properly. (Though, that might be more an issue with Google's DASH standard.)

25 down, probably like 3 or something up

$75/month

My apartment building only has comcast. The first year was $35/month, but the promotion expired, and I don't want to resign a new contract because I plan on moving after this second year. I think resigning a new contract to get the promotion again will reset my early termination fee.

Comcast blows.

Standard ADSL, 16Mb down, 4 or so up. 30€ a month.

For the smartphone it's 4G at a cap of 1GB for 7€ a month.

Germany, smaller city.

Looooool, ya'll must be able to stream 8k/60fps VR Pornhub on 9 devices simultaneously...

My shitty internet connection:

15 Mb/s down / 1 Mb/s up (£35/month)

Home-Telecom, UK

No, you haven't heard of my ISP, and yes that's why they're shit.

1 Gb/sec fibre download/upload

50SGD (US$37) / month
(But first 6 month were free and came with router etc)
I'm not subscribed to any TV package /cable. Only free analog. No landline phone either.

Though rarely can I reach those speeds. Probably due to the country's location.

Edit: mobile phone is 4G, 1 GB data prepaid. 10SGD (US$7) / month. Varies a bit based on bonus MB that they give with every top up etc

I decided to bump this old thread because my ISP (Netia) upgraded my fibre speed from 150/50 to 1000/100 for 2 months for free (I only to restart my router), I don't know why they are doing this but I'm not against it :messenger_grinning:

I have this speed for 10 days now and to be honest I don't feel much difference, not many things even get close to that speed, Steam usually runs around ~40MB/s

So I get over 2x the speed than usual, it's great but I expected more from wealthy Valve. Form my experience I don't think there is much point of having internet faster than 200mb/s for home use.

Prices (no data cap)

150 - 13,30$/m
500 - 18,63$/m
1000 - 23,95$/m

250 up/250 down unlimited data for 75.00 CAD/month.

We are in a pilot project for fibre and they just keep upping my speed without any extra cost. I could go on a gigabit plan if I chose to but it would double in price.
