China is going to colonize the ever-loving shit out of Africa, and the rest of the world won't give a shit. They'll be pleasant enough about it, you won't even notice while they forcibly sterilize the women, and send the man to re-education camps. On an unrelated topic expect the cost of an organ transplant to fall through the floor.

Didn't the same happen in Zimbabwe? All the whites owned the farms and kept the country rich and full of food, then the black warlords kicked all the whites off of their farms and out of their businesses and put their corrupt black friends in. It wasn't long until the country was bankrupt, the people were starving and the whites were killed as it was their fault.

Well, when Elizabeth Warren gets that new Liver she can Legit say she is more African than Native American.

How my wife and I feel about SA. It's a depressingly sad state of affairs over there. World leaders and people of all races, backgrounds and experiences alike would be wise to learn from SA and apply it to their own current day societal fragmentations; especially the western world.
They just, can’t. It requires a very in depth look at racism. One that misery western folks will simply view as “hard” and ignore it

I have always heard Nelson Mandela talked about as a good guy. Based on what was written, he sounds bad.

How was he after becoming Prime Minister?

Somehow time was modified and Mandela didn't die in prison.

This is one of the first evidences of the timeline manipulation that have lead to the events of today.

He's still remembered fondly in most circles on all sides. His name is used to excuse a looooot of political fuck ups. I don't think he'd approve of the way the government he helped build is a complete sham of corruption and incompetence today.

Nelson Mandela is a good man who fight for a good cause

However the people that replaced him in SA these days.....are not....

A country that no longer protect its own citizen from killing, rape and genocide...unfortunately...can be considered as failed state...

Mandella was a terrorist who bombed buildings with women and children in them. That's why he spent so many years in jail. His wife was even worse
Yeah, I think his wife invented the "necklacing", which is trapping someone in a rubber tire and lighting them on fire.

Nelson Mandela was also linked to Communist groups.

South African black guy tells us what they like to do to white people. I'm so happy that our western nations are importing people like this. Our children are going to be so grateful.

The kind of anti-white violence that is coming to a neighborhood near you in the next 10 years. Thanks diversity.
Yep. Import the third world, become the third world.

Eh, that chart is too extreme.

Only the most rural parts of Africa are living in shacks. There are definitely some more developed places like Botswana.

That said, a lot of these third world countries will continue to remain poor when all they do is vote for socialism and tear down their own infrastructure. Sadly, this kind of behavior is being promoted in our own countries as opposed to chasing after space exploration.

Yeah, you're right, it was a bit unfair. Here's a better, more reasonable comparison:

He was a real person. So there was some good and some bad. I personally put him in the same camp as Che Guevara. Che had a noble intent (stop the exploitation of S. America) but was more than willing to get his hands dirty to see it gets done. Both can be celebrated for some aspects and condemned for others. The "Santa Claus-ification" (to quote Cornel West) of historical figures is an absolute disservice to future generations.

Why don't they just leave? It was never theirs to begin with. It's not like they applied legally and were legally made citizens. And it's not like they were forced and taken there in shackles. And it's not like they came in as refugees.

They just came and forcibly took the land from the natives. It's like America, except the Afrikaners failed miserably at the end of the day.

Leave the country, then apply legally if you want to go back. They're lucky they weren't asked to apply for citizenship post Mandela.

Stop whining.

Ignorance here, but why can’t the Dutch or British offer these people citizenship or path to citizenship?

if I was in this situation I’d want out ASAP.

Because the libs would complain that it's for white SA refugees only.

They thought running an industrial farm was plant seeds, add water and profit.

Lay people don't realize the sheer amount of engineering needed for large scale agriculture.

I have spent a considerable amount of time in South Africa, what is happening in that country is so sad. So much potential after the fall of apartheid, and they squandered it with increasingly bad leadership after Mandela.

That's always the case when it comes to any sort of leadership.

We are truly blessed that Washington just wanted to be a farmer. Any lesser man and the American experiment would have collapsed within a generation. Also helps that Washington was followed by Adams, Jefferson etc. Big Brain after Big Brain when the usual throughout history when it comes to leaders was Big Brain, Brainlet, Brainlet, Brainlet, Brainlet, collapse, Big Brain. Rinse, repeat.
