From April 27th, 2020:

31 Dec 2019
Wuhan Municipal Health Commission, China, reported a cluster of cases of pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei Province. A novel coronavirus was eventually identified.

From June 6th, 2020:

31 Dec 2019
WHO’s Country Office in the People’s Republic of China picked up a media statement by the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission from their website on cases of ‘viral pneumonia’ in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China.

The Country Office notified the International Health Regulations (IHR) focal point in the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office about the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission media statement of the cases and provided a translation of it.

WHO’s Epidemic Intelligence from Open Sources (EIOS) platform also picked up a media report on ProMED (a programme of the International Society for Infectious Diseases) about the same cluster of cases of “pneumonia of unknown cause”, in Wuhan.

Several health authorities from around the world contacted WHO seeking additional information.

A month later, the outbreak timeline was quietly changed to say that China never actually reported the outbreak - WHO picked it up from local Chinese news. Why was this hidden for six months after the outbreak began?

WHO also killed people by overdosing them with HCQ.

WHO also told us not to wear masks so countries around the world would send China masks and Chinese spies could bulk buy/steal our masks.

But they are the good guys because Orange Man Bad. We need them to keep killing us.

I am sure they will come out in 2 weeks and tell us the virus is getting worse like they do every 2 weeks.

Remember when they said there is no asymptomatic spread and then flip flopped a day later. Good times.

"Do lockdowns work?" is not useful as a binary question. They may mitigate spread in some situations but not enough to blunt seasonal effects and all of the other variables. Its impossible to measure.

They've had authoritarian super lockdowns in the UK, and they're no more magical beacon of virus crushing utopia than anyone else. Just more miserable people.
