Going back to the Turbo discussion, I really enjoyed the music they used for it. It's on par with MMPR's background tracks, I feel.
Gokaiger has probably the best suit fighting I've seen out of any Sentai, period.
Ditto. Luka's tomboyish attitude and impolite manner of speech combined with her looks... such a turn-on.

It kinda suffers from Dairanger syndrome in that the suit fights are so damned amazing they make the zord fights (which aren't really terrible) look downright horrible by comparison.

I liked the Green Ranger a lot because of his flute that summons the Dragon Zord, but I have to admit that the Dragon Zord is the most overrated Zord in history. He always got his ass whooped in every episode while the Megazord had to save the day. The White Tigerzord was more superior than the Dragonzord but the White Ranger he always seemed like a cheap character that has way too many advantages. I guess its because he was originally from a different series in Japan. You gotta give props to Jason. He didn't need any advantages and had the same amount of powers as the rest of the cast and was the leader based on actual leadership.
That said they are still much better than the red imposter ranger, Rocky. Once the original cast was replaced it went all downhill.

I never really liked Gai until halfway into the show. He looked a bit too distracting.

As hard as it is to believe...yep, Operation Overdrive was far far worse than Turbo ever was. At least the second season of Turbo semi-redeemed the series (once the cast was changed). Operation Overdrive was shit from the very first episode to the last, with a plot that NO ONE gave a damn about (archaeologists finding special stones, with zords based upon excavating? So fucking boring).
Tie in the fact that a scum actor, Samuell Benta, who played the black overdrive ranger stole a cast-signed poster from a power morphicon that was supposed to be sold at a charity auction, and you have the worst Power Rangers series in history, easily.

Tommy's like the affirmative action Ranger. Yeah, he started out cool, but how could would he have been if he didn't have the special shield, the zord that ran by itself, and the flute that sounded like a trumpet fanfare instead?
Then he becomes the white ranger even though he lost his powers as green ranger, became leader based on nothing, and they kept losing zords left and right and eventually even got the command center blown up.
When did the team under Jason ever lose?
And most of all...this:

This thread needs some Gobusters/Akibaranger swag gifs so people can get into the latest in Toku. Gobusters especially has improved so much since Jin showed up with his buddyroid
If you don't mind being spoiler-ed I suggest you watch Linkara's historical retrospectives to get a feel of which season you would want to watch.

My only gripe in Gokaiger (the pirate sentai) is that the add-on mechas are all from modern sentai.
