Why does everyone hates Donald Trump?

I don't want to seem like I'm ignorant, but each time I check Trump's twitter, there are a lot of comments, and all of them always have a lot of retweets and likes. However, each time I check the comments, the first comments that I always see is a lot of sarcasm and perhaps a little insulting. This is why I wanted to ask this of you as I don't get it myself.

Why does everyone hate Donald Trump?

Well I don’t live in America but from the outside his persona is not very presidential like.

For someone that’s meant to represent the best qualities of your country he does not do a very good job.

But he is entertaining...I give him that

Could it be because he's regularly insulting large parts of the population?
Could it be because he's a proven pathological liar regardless of the topic?
Could it be because he pretends to work hard while spending a significant part of his awake time watching TV, playing golf and shitposting on twitter?
Could it be because he's embarrassing the US internationally with his constant buffoonery, shitting on allies while cozying up to autocracies?
Could it be because he's got a track record of surrounding himself with corrupt crooks and yes-men, reflecting on his own personality and leadership?
Could it be because he's completely poisoned the political climate and the relationship with the press?
Could it be because he's pulling the old con of pretending to be for working class americans while doing the opposite, on top of enriching himself with taxpayer money?
Could it be because he's politically supporting the destruction of the environment and the removal of people's rights?
Could it be because he's a cheater (to his wife), self-admitted sexual harrasser, worryingly attracted to his own daughter and generally a vile human being?
Could it be because he's a fickle, hypocritical egomaniac who thinks too highly of himself, as shown by numerous accounts of people who interacted with him throughout his life and his tendency to quickly claim glory while deflecting blame depending on how the markets and international politics swing?

I dunno OP, you tell me.

Also, pre-emptive disclaimer: If you want to deflect that some other politician does some of these things too, that's a reason to dislike that other politician, not a reason to stop disliking Trump.

I legitimately do not know where to even start.
Because you have no legitimate reason its as simple as that, trump is a gift when compared to the actions of the last two war mongering idiots, that some people think words they dont like somehow are worse speaks against them on every human level possible.

Nah @Zaru summed it up nicely for everyone. Its not everything, but its plenty enough to get the picture. Though I know full well you will refuse to acknowledge it.

He must be laffing his cock off at all the mind share he accumulates from just being. This guys gonna be remembered, talked about and referenced fucking forever.

Trump has now transcended mere Fame. The very people who wish he’d just die and go away have gifted him immortality.

Thousands of years in the future the Disney sponsored history books will be filled with Jesus, Hitler and Trump.

They hate him because he stole an election that lefties thought they had won and because he isn’t afraid to show that he is narcissistic asshole and a pathological liar. Compare him to the typical rich leftie like Weinstein who acted like he was saving the world before being caught.

Trump is not a solution to America problems, but he revealed once and for all how much corrupted american elites are. And now they fear rightwingers on social media so much that they ask giants like facebook or visa to stop them.

It's interesting to think about why exactly he's so hated they will probably be writing books about it in the future. One factor might be the climate, 'politically correct', 'social justice', 'social equity' etc. and Trump is the antithesis of that ideology or he seemingly is.

Twitter’s staff purposefully adjusts the algorithm. It’s been caught doing it. But, since it is privately owned- they can get away with it. It’s going to be shocking for many around the world when Trump wins again in 2020. It’ll be fun to watch. Politics is all a theatric team sport now for most people anyway-so much that a vast majority of the population doesn’t even care about what happens.

Will he actually get the majority of the votes this time around or no?

This is my own opinion, I don't claim to read minds.

The people who oppose President Trump were rejected. But they believe that they are correct to such a degree that they think if they can just point out how wrong the American people were, everyone will "open their eyes and see". I don't know if it is hate so much as it is a moral righteousness. They are taking a rejection of their ideas as a rejection of them personally. It's also why non Americans get bent out of shape over him, too.

Folks around here still like to warp reality and pretend that Trump is just a regular old president doing regular old presidential things. It's all about normalizing him and making his critics seem like the crazy ones. How could anyone dislike Trump other than raging liberals? He's so likeable and intelligent and handsome!

Exactly. And then when you start to point out his faults then they just hand wave them away as if they don't matter and/or try to deflect to Hillary, Obama, or some other favorite target of the Right. Anything and everything to avoid that Trump has done something wrong.

Topics like this are as stupid as I don't get anime and so on.

Regarding the topic, a lot of people over the Internet is from the western hemisphere, most of them is from the urban areas and in addition have some kind of office work (which implies a lot of free time or at least time to spend in the network). So they are more or less progressive and so they hate Trump. Simple like this. Not to mention you should have Twitter account too.

I for example don't hate him, but also I am not on Twitter.

Some people don’t hate him. So it’s not everyone. And people hate all presidents so it’s nothing new. We didn’t have the internet and social media at this level during other presidencies. I think over time when the knee jerk reactions are done he will have done some bone head things but probably a few good things also and will only be remembered as the celebrity president. We won’t really know for 10-20 years when new history books talk about him. I think he is forgettable though.

Trump to me feels like he is saying a lot of stuff a lot of Americans wanted to say, nowadays those same people are really bold and will start stuff. Never in my life had I had white people become so bold an say crazy stuff I know I live in Michigan and it has some problems, still I just think he is speaking for the people who don’t like minority’s and there’s ALOT of them.

Do you read/watch the news, literally ever? Do you pay attention at all?
I do and yes.

I also see how the mainstream media has bent and warped reality and perpetuated flights of fancy to benefit their partisanship, power and influence. And if you think we should care what foreign leaders think about Trump while their own countries crumble in their own hands from their own policies you'll probably blame populism rising in those countries on Trump too.

Minority....minority....That, to me, seems like a political term. Do you in your everyday life think of yourself as a minority? Like in your head, you think, "I'm a minority."

A minority compared to what? As a voting block, at least in California, the "minority" population outnumbers the "majority". If you think of yourself that way, I would recommend you stop.

Just proves how awesome he is. I mean only good presidents cheat on their pregnant wives with pornstars and then pay them hush money.

Just proves he is smart in fact! Can't imagine why people hate him tho.....
You forgot the best bit, that he cheated on his pregnant wife with a pornstar without using any protection. Raw dogged her.

That's how much he respects the mothers of his children.

Ignoring the stuff about him being vile and an egomaniac for the sake of discussion most of those thing seems pretty accurate to me? Feel free to chime in with what you think about it.
He is an egomaniac and a narcissist. Most successful people are. Vile? On what grounds?

But I already chimed in what I thought. If you think what I had quoted was acurate I think you aren't being objective in the slightest.

Edit: clearifying what I had quoted not said

Are you sure you want to go down this route of morality? You might Regret going there if we start bringing in statistics on other male proclivities in the US and how they see their family units.

Imagine literally shaming Trump for being polyamorous. It's 2019, people. We don't shame people for not being slaves to disproven human monogamy anymore.

More seriously, I don't think anyone believes Trump and Melania are actually in love. Trump wanted another child with an Eastern European, and Melania wanted to be kept up. As long as they both agree to it, there is not anything wrong with that.

It's strange to see all the attacks on him versus, say, the Clintons, who put on airs of being an actual family when they self-admittedly together only for political convenience. Even with their airs Bill's documented rapes and decades of using state and federal resources to facilitate his affairs are dismissed .

As the election of 2016 has proven, the popular vote doesn’t mean a candidate will win or lose. Will Trump win the popular vote in 2020 if he runs? Maybe. Maybe not. A win is a win. Running up yards doesn’t necessarily win football games, especially if no points are being scored.

How deep are you into Trump's "FAKE NEWS" narrative? Where do you get YOUR news from?

Okay so being a minority is all in your mind and discrimination wouldn't exist if people just stopped thinking they're minorities

I don't like him because he's an asshole. If you had him over to dinner you wouldn't invite him back unless you wanted money from him.
I don't like him because he lies more often than he tells the truth. Sometimes it seems like he's lying just for the sake of lying, there have been some lies that instantly make the situation worse for him instead of better so you really have to wonder why he pulled out a fib instead of the truth on those occasions. He's either a compulsive liar or an idiot who doesn't know wtf he's talking about most of the time, or both.
I don't like him because he is a hypocrite. Almost everything he routinely gave Obama shit for during the previous presidency he himself now does.

Now his defender will call these attacks. They're not attacks. They're simply truth. All of this can be found in video, in interviews, in recordings and/or in print.

tldr; People don't like Trump because he isn't a likable person. You can like his politics, you can like his agenda, you can like his decision-making but if you like him as a person you're ignoring 99% of the shit that has come out of his mouth.

Someone can not be Hitler and still be reviled for good reasons.
There it is: The right kind of hate.

May you reap what you sow.

Personally not a fan because he doesn't seem to care about people in general. It seemed that way even before winning the Republican nomination.

It is (imo) something I need in a politician. I need them to give a fuck about all the people he/she represents. That's just a basic qualification imo. He doesn't have that.

Hate is a strong word. I don't like the guy and look forward to voting in one of the progressives that the Democratic party puts forth. If they don't put forth a suitable candidate maybe I'll look toward the green party instead of voting for Harambe again.

Its not just about about that. When it comes down to it most people don'[t care who the moron has slept with. Its about the hypocrisy of the GOP and their base. Who have for YEARS claimed to be the party of god, fiscal responsibility and family values. And here we are watching the GOP support a man that goes against literally everything they have ever claimed to be and yet NONE OF THEM or their supporters is willing to admit it. You wanna support an ignorant hypocritical lying adulterous ass for President? Go for it. But you have to OWN IT. You don't get to pretend that what he is doing is normal or that he aligns with what the Republican Party has always advertised itself to be. Because he isn't.

But none of his supporters will admit it because it would involve them admitting that they are frauds. That they are liars. That they have never truly believed in what the Republican party was advertised to be. They simply supported it because it was convenient for them and now Trump is convenient for them so they now support him instead. The don't give a damn about all the other values they claim to care about because if they did they wouldn't be supporting Trump.
