All players start with shotguns and sniper with unlimited ammo. I do enjoy the gametype as it improves your aim, but I agree that it should be a different ranked gametype.

shotty snipers is a team slayer game that happens every other match where you only get shotguns and sniper rifles. it might not be so bad if it were like 1 out of every 10 games, but it's every other game.

It's the fact that you play the shit 75% of the time in Team Slayer. That's the problem.

You've got a weapon that is only useful at point blank range (shotgun) and one that is only useful for long-range (sniper). And it's not like you can really sneak up on people with the shotgun either cause there's radar (sure you can crouch walk but that's no fun and you'd get sniped anyway).

Either remove it or put it in it's own playlist.

Shotguns only would be cool though.

It's particularly horrible on Valhalla. There's too much open space and you can never get close enough to anyone to use the shotfun. Why not just go ahead and make it Snipey Snipers? Because that's what it turns into.

Since Wednesday Shotty Snipers has come up more than any other gametype for me when matchmaking. When I pick Team Objective I seem to get a nice mix between One Bomb / Terrorities / CTF and the same with Team Tactical...

But on Team Slayer if anyone veto’s the first map then the second will ALWAYS be Shotty Snipers and if the first is Shotty Snipers then EVERYONE veto’s it. In fact lately I can hear audible groans when it comes up, and it seem twice as likely as everything else to make an apparence, and it is GETTING ANNOYING!!!!

But the other big problem it's that most the time you can play in the same maps during an hour... The Pit -> Narrows -> Snowbound -> Narrows -> Snowbound -> The Pit -> Narrows...
