Or eyesight. The Conduit looks like shit.

Nintendo's teams are wonky, Mario Galaxy has this fantastic texturing that scales so well but then Twilight Princess has some of the worst texturing I've seen since first gen PS2. (which is especially annoying after Wind Waker looked so good)

Yeah, it looks like a PS2 game more or less. It is amusing he thought that.

Is there any secret to making the games playable at HD resolutions? Any time I add any AA or filters, the frames drop to single digits. I have an I5-750 and a Saphire 4870. Is my rig not powerful enough or are there additional performance enhancements somewhere else?

Enable EFB to Texture in the graphics settings and use the DirectX9 plugin or follow this guide http://dolphin-emulator.com/performance.html <- Do enable either Framelimit or Audio Throttle.

Your computer should be fast enough to run NSMB at full speed in 1080P with some AA. I haven't encountered any major bug playing the game, yet.

Though, Twilight Princess was built on the GameCube, then ported and was like 1-2 years old when it was ported to the Wii...Mario Galaxy was fully built for the Wii.

Thanks I got it up and running , NSMB runs and looks amazing on it. :D

But I need to figure out the controls, Im guessing there's some sort of adapter I can buy that allows me to use my actual wiimote / nunchuck / sensor bar with dolphin? and one question about NSMB, when I first started the emulator the coins were spinning but now they aren't, I cant seem to figure out which setting I changed to make this happen?

Make sure you are:

1. Running it using the Direct 3D9 plugin.
2. Running it with Copy EFB to RAM enabled.

Buy a Bluetooth adapter and a wireless sensor bar (or use candles :lol) and you should be set to go.

Thanks to this thread I've now got my new pc running dolphin and I'm seriously loving it! I'll be ordering a bluetooth adapter soon to start playing some wii games, but for now I'm enjoying some Windwaker!

Legend of Zelda: Windwaker

1920x1080, 2.25 SSAA, 16xAA

The game runs great at an average 35 FPS. I have the DoF disabled as it's very pixellated. Also the heat distortion in the first dungeon didn't seem to work quite right, but aside from those niggles, it looks and plays great!

What are your system specs?

Can anyone explain to me how I can configure my PS3 controller to work as a classic controller? I've already set up motioninjoy, now I just need to set up the emulator but I'm completely lost as to how to do it. I've set the emulated extension option to classic controller in the configuration panel and now I'm wondering what L left, R Left, digital left, etc. are. Can anyone explain this?

By the way, I'm trying to get it to work to play with the Monster Hunter Tri demo.

Still can't believe that til this day no other developer has succeeded or even tried to copy those beautiful cell-shaded graphics. I mean, those are timeless and give a great atmosphere to the game, what's not to like?

Do you have HT enabled? Just remember that Dolphin may try to use the virtual cores like real ones and slow you down a bit. You can set affinity in task manager (right click dolphin.exe) or disable ht in the bios. I think it goes physical core / virtual core / physical core... and so on. I'm not entirely sure.

God, looking at those WW shots makes me want a NPC release so badly!

With Link staying left-handed, none of that TP game mirroring to make him right-handed. :/

Screw NPC. Make it a fullblown Wind Waker DX with more dungeons and explorable Hyrule with dungeons :(.

Anyone know if it's possible to get the gamecube version of RE4 to run fullscreen in 16:9 with this?

Thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware of this but I'll take a look. It really is amazing how scalable the graphics in The Wind Waker are. I just have a shit eatin grin on my face the entire time I'm playing this on Dolphin! :D

Okay nevermind this. Just got the Wii version running in fullscreen 1080p. Holy shit. Holy shit. So good.

Emulated wiimote with mouse and keyboard setup works extremely well (pretty much exactly like RE5 PC), but is it possible to "disconnect" the emulated nunchuck mid-game to activate the gamepad controls? Hotkey?

Those Wind Waker pics look Glorious! It would be a dream come true to have a Directors Cut version come out! I would want a option for normal Gamecube controls though.

Metroid Prime: Echoes playability has been degrading for me over the past few revisions, and simply crashes Dolphin when I try plaing it on the newest release. Anyone else having that problem? Everything else seems to be working as usual.

DOWNWARD FUCKING DOG

THIS PAGE IS AMAZING

The games simply look stunning. I guess since technically the characters in SPM aren't sprites, they become HD as well. Super!

Wind waker looks so fucking good, you just made me put it at the top of my backlog again :D NMH 2... and oh godddddddddddd I need a PC to play my games

So with the official 2.0 release, does that mean it takes all the awesome bits of the revisions into 1 pack? Or are they completely standalone? I am so confused with all of these things.

I was planning on upgrading my computer soon.

I was wondering if I should upgrade the processor or not.

Intel Care 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
2 gigs of Ram (Going to be upgraded to 6 gigs)
GTS 250 (Upgrading to a 5850)

I've been trying to run wii games but I've had mixed results.

Shit, mario is crispy as hell. I also find Madworld to be the weirdest game ever since it doesn't look much better than the original for some reason...from what I remember anyway. It damn near looked like that when I played it. *scratches head*

NMH is pretty buttery lookin too. Looks much better.

Seeing as how popular the Super Paper Mario screens were, here are a couple more I had grabbed from the start:

Dolphin%202010-04-17%2015-03-44-36.jpg

Dolphin%202010-04-17%2015-05-32-30.jpg

Dolphin%202010-04-17%2015-08-59-59.jpg

And since this shot seemed to be the most popular, I give you it in 1080ps.
