Online..... like..... online... play...?

Magic.

Yup and you can join regional clubs as well by the looks of things.

If they add more sports on top of the original and Resort sports, I could be very interested. Probably overplayed the old Wii ones though.

Awesome.

Can't wait for online matches in tennis.

Wonder how different the controls are now with motion plus.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.

Thats an interesting approach.

Only two sports to start? DLC model? E-shop only? Online? This is a new Nintendo here.

Although TBH I think this is just about the worst way possible to appeal to the broad base of consumers that Wii Sports caught on with. Its such a wierd risk for the franchise, curious how it pans out.

Online sports? Yes, please! Clubs? Even better! I like this. And the new approach of this and Karaoke.

Oh, and I can skip the bowling and pick sports. Yeap, want!

Still watching the Direct but fuuuuuck! THis is exactly what i wanted!

In fact, more than i wanted, more new ideas!

Will buy Tennis. Will completely ignore Bowling.

You know, i dont like bowling too! Its too slow! Throw, wait, throw, wait. Tennis is a lot more active, more fun.

Well, i played real bowling one time in my life and didnt enjoyed it too.

Does this imply they might add sports outside of Wii Sports in the future? As, maybe.... WS Resort sports? I hope so. Fencing and archery please.

It's Wii Sports HD with online and WM+, splitted into a somewhat complicated way.
I will take it anyway I think, at least tennis and then golf when it will be available.

It's a little disapointing, because it's not a full-fledged sequel, maybe Nintendo hurried this eralier this year when they realized they needed games.

Maybe want to monetized it in a way they can get the most profit from. Supposedly that ship has already sailed.

Seems like a mistake to make this digital only when the series has mainly casual appeal and retail is the domain of casuals.

Hmmm... as much as the online play excites me, I think I would have much preferred just another Resort version. Some of the Resort sports were really good, hope they get added to this one eventually if it's a success. Like Archery!

Very interesting with the 24 hour passes though. I can see the appeal. If you have a bunch of friends or family members over for a night, just buy the $2 pass and see how it goes.
