With the event Sony is throwing tomorrow and all of the "Next-Gen" leaks for the Orbis and Durango, do you feel left out? Having last-gen hardware specs and the new hardware shine has already worn off for most people... there's no way you only have the Wii U this gen, right?

I would never limit myself to just a single console.

Especially not a Nintendo console. I gots to play mah games.

I get X and Bayonetta 2 on Wii U.

I'm excited to see what will come for the new consoles.

Cut the OP some slack guys. Wii U owners are contractually excluded from owning another console.

I have a gaming PC so I don't see why I would feel left out. For me, Dota2 is probably going to be better than any game that gets announced before E3.

Failed troll is failed, but to answer the question: I assume most gaffers have more than just one platform. No worries here.

No, bought it for first party Nintendo games and the occasional second or third party exclusive.
I only buy multiplats that are better. And the chance of those will be gone after november it seems.

It is a bit sad. People are hyping this Sony event as the long-awaited coming of next gen. Like the Wii U doesn't even exist. I don't think Nintendo have EVER been this irrelevant in the console race.

Nah, stuff like Monolith Soft's "X" is looking promising and a type of game that PS4/720 probably won't have in scope.

Plus, I'm getting PS4/720 anyway. Don't feel "left out" at all.

Got my Wii U for great first party games. Everything else on the high end gets played on my PC. I will not be buying a new PS4 or X-Box 720. They just can't compete with the PC and steam.

I'm going Wii u only. I'm sure other systems will be great but I only have time enough to justify one. I might get a ps4 if my ps3 breaks in five years, but I'm in no hurry.

Still have vita and 3ds and a retro collection to play anyway.

Are you perchance asking if we mad?

I have 360, PS3 and Wii U and am at least buying PS4 on day 1, so no I do not feel left out.

Do you feel left out that you aren't able to buy all consoles?

The condescension in the OP is pretty damn offensive. Why does anyone else fucking care whether someone else is satisfied with just a wii u?

In any case, I'm prepared to embrace "next gen" with both a wii u and a gaming rig that'll make any console on the market look like a fisher price toy.

I'll be Wii U only, assuming it starts to get third party ports. If it doesn't then I'll sell that fucker and get something else. Basically I'm trying not to worry too much just yet but I'll ditch those mofo's Nintendo if they don't sort their shit out.

They had their turn. Now it's Sony's. Then it will be MS's.

It'll be one hell of a battle by the end of the year, but Nintendo will be fine in the long run.

My Wii U collection will be bigger than my PS4 collection guaranteed. Is that what you're asking OP?

At the moment, I don't own either.

Last gen I went PS360Wii with 360 being my main console. This gen I'm not so sure what I want to do. I might only get one or the other since Orbis and Durango will probably have less exclusives and I don't really enjoy first party from Sony or MS. I have to see what they both offer and will probably go with the best one.

Most likely heading towards WiiUBis. I'm not sure what MS is doing with Durango but I have a feeling I'm not going to like it.

Not really. If I wanted intense high budget third party games or insane graphics I would have bought a PS4/Xbox 720. After the Wii I learned that third parties just don't release games on Nintendo consoles. I'll probably pick up the PS4 midway through this generation once I see a game I want to play but I don't think I'm going to really feel left out considering how much less time I have nowadays and my massive backlog.

I'm more disappointed in Nintendo than anything. They'd done shit all in terms of supporting their console. Once Nintendo releases some games I should feel a little better about my purchase.

I should see big graphics leap before i give my decision.

And if the Wii U can't get multi game , then I will think to get new consoles.

Because after Vita mistake i will not get any thing before I give it minimum 1 year.

I get the Wii U because of Nintendo game for sure.

I have a PC and plenty of exclusives to look forward to on my Wii U and 3DS (RIP Vita games :/)

I could give a shit about specs.

I'll probably wait 3-4 years before even touching the PS4 like I did with the PS3.

Will be my primary console. Secondary will be PS4 or 720 dont think ill get a tertiary this time around as 360 and ps3 were too similar.
Do i feel left out? Well no I can buy any console and i have little time to play anyways. My taste is also more towards JRPGs, Casual games, kiddie games and platformers so 3ds and wiiu will satisfy my biggest urges

I also don't understand how anyone can feel left out when the PS4 has not been released and no one has played it. Shouldn't everyone feel left out?

What I'm saying is, Monolith Soft's (Xenoblade developers) upcoming Wii U RPG looks very promising and a type of game that Sony or Microsoft probably won't offer for their respective consoles. I think they're mainly focusing on social, Kinect and action shooters for their next platforms.

Need my JRPG goodness to fill the void.
