We usually get it a day or a little less before the Direct, so if the rumor is correct it will be confirmed tomorrow for the 18th.
Couldn't it be something as simple as new information just about Scribblenauts?

It releases on Sunday, so none. I don't think they will deliver right away, but Monday or Tuesday is likely.
That's pretty much what I thought it would be, a ND related with it didn't really cross my mind.

Sure, but why withhold it until the seventeenth? And why are retail chains getting WiiU demos plus the first WiiU commercial airing on the seventeenth? Not to mention Straight Right recently saying one of their WiiU ports would be announced soon...
It could be a huge coincidence, but it's too much for me to not be at least cautiously optimistic for a ND announcement soon.

Thanks for the ND replies. With the way Nintendo has been keeping WiiU information on lock down, I would assume the Scribblenauts announcement is part of a bigger blowout.

Wow, i just realized that exactly a year ago me and some Gaffers were hyping The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword like mad! I can't believe its already been one year since we were looking forward to the next 20 second video from gameinformer.. just wow.

White ones won't show fingerprints (and looks nicer overall imo) while black will match the console.
