The latest Call of Duty released to poor reviews and low player numbers on Steam. But these numbers are steady.
Meanwhile, Battlefield 6 started with great player count, but has been steadily dropping thousands of players every week.

So the question is, will these 2 games match player count numbers on Steam?

P.S.: This is for Steam only, as we only have data for this platform. So don't whine about other platforms.

Probably going to be around the same until he next COD comes out and then it will be below.
I enjoy BF6 but it's been obvious that it has been loosing a ton of players (at least based on the empty lobbies and bot filled games in my region) and I doubt Season 2 is going to make tons of people return for more than a couple of games. It's probably going to be a couple of new maps with all the same issues people have with the curren ones.

Wait so on console battlefield is similar to Arc and COD is currently more popular?

Well BF is usually more popular on PC and COD is usually more popular on console, so not that surprising.
Also keep in mind the COD on those PSN charts is all the recent games combined, not just the latest entry.

With the net code being trash and not listening to the players I can see it dipping below cod

I still dont know why they are doing bf labs this Friday when they dont listen to the feedback or let us have sometime to test new shit

Why do you care? What do you win by being on the right side? Two totally different games that are in the same niche. COD is mindless movement based with Fortnite skins, BF6 "tries" to be more realistic though its dipping its toes into COD some. It's about you having fun. If you just want to run off walls and talk shit while hanging with your boys COD is the game. If you are a bit older hate movement antics and 360 no scope backflips and slide kills go for BF6. I have both play both and enjoy both.

I personally enjoy BF6 more be cause my hand eye coordination and the bullshit snipers in COD i find super unrealistic and irritating.

AS long as there are enough players to fill the modes I'm happy.

And there will be as with every BF games

I liked BF6 but have not booted it up since COD came out. I'm sure I will go back to it at some point, but unlike COD, it's not a game I can enjoy solo.

man i am really getting tired of this doom and gloom for Battlefield.

Buts its the new 'in' thing all YT and content creators are chasing.

I saw the red flags during the beta. The game has an identity crisis where it doesn't do enough to satisfy CoD fans eventhough that was clearly their goal while at the same time failing to play to Battlefield's strengths and satisfy those original fans like myself. Its stuck in a no man's land with little appeal to either group. The game is fundamentally flawed and I doubt it will be able to regain many players regardless of any changes or additions they might make.

The problem with BF6 is that it is too CoD in its core.

I really like it, but it could just SO MUCH MORE if they just correctly implement the BF6 components:
- Bigger maps
- More orders and encourage to coordinate team play
- Better class division (yeah, closed weapons and better gadgets for each rol)

There will be a boost for Season 2 in my opinion, but it wont last. Yeah it might reach current CoD levels of players, but EA wanted to reach the player counts of peak CoD, not the lolcow that we have now.

And I dont think it will people are moving away from gaming and Warzone strike at the right time withe an amazing recipe. And my worry is that EA will just start on "squeeze mode" if they dont get the 5 morbillion current players, that will make players quit more.
