It's better consumers know that this is the attitude from devs towards the Switch that just relying on Nintendo PR.

Not that I think it matters for TF2 though since nobody cares about that game. Would be more impactful coming from a bigger franchise.

I understand the comment about Nintendo's consoles being catered to certain demographic that might not be same as Titanfall's but doesn't Titanfall 2 run on modified Source engine? If there was a reason to believe that it would sell on the system I'm sure they could port it over. I think his comment is fair enough but what does Wii U's Zelda being ported to Switch have to do with anything.

Titanfall 2 turned a lot of heads. Even if EA doesn't want to fund it, and that seems very likely, Respawn does own the IP.

The games sales are pretty relevant. If the game did well there would be money to port the game to other systems/Nintendo might try to actually get a port. Since the game bombed nobody cares.

Like FIFA will be worse on Switch, but it's still coming to Switch because FIFA is a valuable game.
