I generally like anything that has it's heart in the right place. F&F always seemed like people just had a good time making the films (baring the latest one) and they revel in the ridiculous instead of pretending it's stone cold serious.

Its trash cinema, but its fun and everyone is in on the joke and want to put in an effort, which is pretty uncommon for this genre.

Expendables is essentially the opposite where it feels like the MIckey Mouse/ Bugs Bunny scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and you can just see the contracts that were signed for appearances.

Need a good reason to go to space? Crossover with the MCU and join in the fight against Thanos.

I've been with these movies from the start and I'm gonna ride this out.

Going Thursday for the new one with my mom.

Whatever they do I'm with them to the end; They're only getting better, I trust them completely.

They can't go into space quite yet.

First they have to race the molemen people who hate the idea of Familia and think Corona tastes like piss water.

Then they have to team up with black Jesus when the devil is organizing a race to destroy the world and God agrees to it.

Then comes the space movie. Where a race of aliens come to steal all of the Corona.

Not on my neighborhood. Not with my Familia

"I'm in your space."

I wouldn't mind Fast and Furious x 24 Jump Street x MIB. Perhaps that's not outlandish enough, but it could definitely work :)

I'd watch Riddick versus The Family. They'd have to be pals by the end of the movie though when the Pitch Black monsters touch down. Riddick would hopefully have a new alien dog pet with him. And Han would be there too of course.

Frank Sinatra voice all the way.

Edit and ps.

I watched the whole franchise in the past few weeks, listening to beastcrew commentary and i absolutely love these films. At this point i really don't care where they take this franchise as long as they keep churning out movies at the quality level of the last 3.

I feel that FF really can't lose. It will quietly snatch Star Wars' franchise throne.

Not that anyone is reading my idea's but a space jump cold open that pays homage to the pre credit sequence in Goldeneye (1996) would definitely fit within the fast universe and be a great way to introduce a new Teammember/Villan

To be fair, seeing a highly modified earth car shredding the moon's surface would kick add.

I actually wonder what a Moon rover designed for style would look like. Or what you would need to take into account to let it have a high speed.

I wonder what crossover will come first, Transformers, Vehicle-Voltron or Power Rangers.

Personally holding out for the dark dystopian future spinoff. Fast and Furious: Neo Tokyo drift.

Not yet. They'd first have to jump through the worldbuilding hoops of nanomachine superpowers.

We are way past that shark now

Yeah. The franchise has long ago stopped giving a shit about being grounded in realism. They found out that the series works much better as a spectacle.

I can 100% see them doing something like going to space, or even finding evidence of alien life. Hell, I can honestly see them bringing Riddick in. That's just the type of franchise this is now. It's the Anti-21 Jump Street franchise.

The Fast and Furious franchise is one of the oddest fucking tales in Hollywood. It's basically a series that, for all intents and purposes, should be regulated to DVD sequels, but it's not.

Hell, we now live in a reality where Fast Nein is no longer a parody script.

After space they can then do an interdimensional Race War that was set up because Dom welcomes God into the family and God wants to see Dom race the best drivers from the multi-verse because he's bored. The rub though is that the losers universe will be erased and Dom's universe is actually one of the worst universes in a driving power level scale. We will get to see aliens and alternate universe chargers and mustangs. It'll be the best thing ever especially when they meet up with Universe 8 Han and he joins their team. Also the Tokyo Drift 48 year old teenager becomes relevant again.

I don't even care.

Whatever they're doing is clearly working, so I'm not opposed to any wacky shit they can think of at this point.

Shoot for the moon. Literally.

The team has faced evil Dom, but Dom hasn't faced evil Dom yet.

I think that was a real missed opportunity.
