Hey remember those Special Auditions? I forgot until today. Remember when PowaPowaPuririn was independent? Neither do I! Remember when Aoi and Ichigo first met? Actually, no, because we were never told about it, so we get the details!

Oh jeez, Maria Holic too. lol

If it didn't require shipping back the entire damn set (what are they going to do with the DVDs anyway?), I'd almost consider it just to do a format upgrade. Shipping the whole thing back to them at that point would probably cost as much as just buying the set again when it's on sale.
I don't plan on sending my MM! DVDs for this reason. I will upgrade sometime this year to the BDs, but I will be keeping my sub-only DVDs.

Also, I thought most of MM! was quite enjoyable. As I recall, not including the specials there was only one pantyshot scene the entire time.

Tenchi GXP Dub 4

Still finding the show pretty funny as a whole, though I do fear that Seina's unlucky streak and the two lovely ladies cat fight isn't going to be able to carry the show. Will have to see how they keep things fresh or else this concept could get stale really fast.

Noragami - 3
I'm still enjoying this show and the production is solid, but it is a bit slow going. I sort of hope they kick start the plot and get it moving soon.

Nisekoi - 2
I laughed quite a bit at this. The yakuza antics are surprisingly funny despite being sort of cliche. The whole
childhood friend having the key and not saying anything is really stupid though. Just an artificial method to keep the plot in the same place.

Wizard Barristers - 2
I'm pretty sure this is going to be the same thing for every episode throughout its run and i'm perfectly fine with that. The wild Umetsu in it's natural habitat.

I don't remember much from that movie/show. I watched it back in like 10th grade or something (like 8 years ago) . One thing I remember is the random boobs at the start of some episode. also paper weapons.
The ova was tied to the tv series in a neat way I thought. Random boob episode was weird plus
that poor girl died really violently for no good reason

I'm just going to throw this out as someone who enjoys Space dandy, Tenchi GXP has been more entertaining and funnier then Space Dandy in the same amount of episodes. Dandy has a way better dub, music, and animation but GXP has had better comedy and better slap stick and a more enjoyable cast.

That comparison is so absurd.. oh right, both are airing in Toonami.
Tenchi GXP already finished its run on Toonami and was panned by its viewers and tanked in the ratings. It was so bad it dropped from second in the line after Bleach (most popular show) down to a garbage time slot at 3:30. Heck even the people who run Toonami said it was a mistake to air GXP and they defend just about everything they show/do.

VVV 8

I spent the entire episode clapping in front of my computer like an idiot. This episode is amazing. Can they top this? How? I guess I get to find out!
VVV 12

That was one fucking good season finale. Double so since I can pass to next episode right away! Muhahahaha!
No opinions on 10 and 11?!

You can do it Chiaki! Slowly become a better person!
The performance will probably suck, but hopefully he can improve his people skills along the way.

Also, as it turns out, Milk actually is an asshole.

I hope the final performance has some nice animation. Most of the playing in this episode and the last were stills.

The most heinous of anime crimes.

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou 1-24

Absolutely an amazing show. Its funny, It knows how to be serious, It portrays reality amazingly well, Its a great confidence booster and It has some amazing lessons that someone can learn from watching it. The characters are fun, enjoyable and realistic. The story is simple, but they manage to portray it amazingly well. In the end they wrapped up every single loose thread and I was smiling with tears in my eyes.

Just amazing, this show will definitely be going into my short list of responses when people ask "I'm trying to get into anime, what should I watch?" :)

No opinions on 10 and 11?!
The problem with enjoying something is I end up wanting to see the next ep now now now NOW and skip the impressions :(

That being said :

VVV --> 14

Some of the developments of the story are predictable, some are surprising and some are completely over the top. I wasn't a fan of VVV's design at first, but the sharp as an insect claw look and the colours grew up on me very quickly. And that was before they introduced the other models which are nothing short of fabulous : tapdancing, a hacking axe, BEASTO HIGH etc.

I'm surprised the series remains coherent despite all the stuff they throw in (
timeskip, rape, space vampires, the power of social media, space magic, cullinary preferences
and so much more). L-Elf is boss. The part where he
gets possessed to fight and leaves post-its on the cockpit about what's going to happen
had me in stiches. Aaah L-Elf. All that so he can go back to his
half imouto
.

It's a FUN series, and I hope it continues to deliver (and given the past reactions to this I suspect it will). I am also looking forward to see what other objects will be shoved into Ninomiya's mouth by various male characters.

But enough chitchat. There's more episodes to go!

Yeah, by the time all is said and done, you're basically paying the same as the sale price or thereabouts. Well, especially if you're in Canada anyway.

I don't really remember MM other than the author dying a while ago. Although I think there was an even more perverted love triangle show about some kid who was a master of writing porn.

Yamato 2199 11-14

Can't wait to see more of this guy as he owns so fucking hard.

This just keeps on going from strength to strength with each and every single episode. I really like how they actually took the time to humanise the Gamilans with the addition of Melda to the cast and the focus on the uprising General helping a great deal.

Episode 14 in particular was just… whoa.

Gargantia 14-15

Hmm, these specials are kinda like the Ying and Yang of Gargantia as a series. The former representing the smart, well-written and heartfelt side by developing Ridget as a character through the use of self-retrospection whilst the later represents the stupid, bombastic and utterly hamfisted lecturing to the audience on "the faults of humanity" side with the equally simple Kugel (how fitting.)

I really do hope the second season has far more of the former and far less of the later.

Strike Witches is meant for the strongest of people who know the true power of hometown, MM is the same loli/masochism powered super saiyan jokes used every episode.

Though I will post best girl sensei for posterity.
What is MM actually called anyway.

Episode 14 in particular was just… whoa.
We Rahxephon now.

Would you guys consider ramen noodles soft to eat for someone who has their wisdom teeth taken out?
Never had a wisdom tooth taken out but they should be soft. Some of the extras less so. (IE soft noodles and vegetables/meat etc)

Log Horizon 16

This is my first impression on here for the entire series. Wow. This series has captivated me from the beginning. Here we get a seamless transition from setting the world up, taking the kids through a dungeon to get them acclimated to relations with the People of the Land to set up the new arc against David Bowie the Goblin King.
Har, har.

Isuzu is adorable, we haven't seen as much Akatsuki lately which will just make more the more satisfying later.

I gotta admit, near the end of the episode where they find the
Goblin holding the doll of the cute little girl that was there earlier, and the later burial of this doll
I almost shed a tear.the realization of the People of the Land only getting one life sets the tone for what they're trying to do.

I enjoyed SA:O, but Log Horizon blows it away for me. Looking forward to the rest of the ride here!
