no PC?
All versions get the update.Hmm, I wonder if this upgrade is only for the GOTY edition. I've got a digital version of the standard game, so would be annoying if that's not getting the PS5 boost.
Ol' Geralt has a loooooong way to go before making such a statement. The Witcher 3 is the new Skyrim, milking the hell out of it.
Do you get the DLCs as well though? All versions get the update.

It's free update, how's that milking anything? The Witcher 3 is the new Skyrim, milking the hell out of it.
If you own them already then yes.Do you get the DLCs as well though?
It's a patch.

You don't like the game?Just let it die peacefully.
You don't like the game?
What about people who aren't into PC gaming, and never played the game or just never played the DLC? It seems to be a pretty good deal for them. One of my best games of all times. But doesn't mean I wanna keep playing it 7 years later. 450 hours of gameplay were more than enough, bring something new, a sequel.

Only if the PS5/SeriesX/PC upgrade for current owners is paidThe Witcher 3 is the new Skyrim, milking the hell out of it.
Its not a patch, its a Native next gen port.
Does it really matterIts not a patch, its a Native next gen port.
The PC upgrade is a patch you download.
The Witcher 3 is the new Skyrim, milking the hell out of it.
Whats does that mean exactly? are we close to release?
Dont get your hopes up or you Will be extremely disapointed. They have a lot of questions to answer if this version doesn't look like that 2013 trailer.
We can blame last gen consoles for that if we want to go that route (while ignoring games that look better and actually work mind you) ,but what the fuck they going to say on PS5 and Series X if it doesn't actually look like that 2013 trailer? The downgrade was bad enough, the lies they did during that time was bad enough, but to dead ass find out they also lied ABOUT THE LIE would be pretty fucking damning. Like....was it a downgrade? Did what we saw even fucking exist as a working game or?

The 2013 trailer was a vertical slice, not a game. CDPR confirmed as such later on.They have a lot of questions to answer if this version doesn't look like that 2013 trailer.

Milking hater’s ego. It's free update, how's that milking anything?
>playing Witcher 1 with the kidsAwesome, will play the superior version in 10 years when I will be going with my kids through all the games. Probably at that point we will also have Witcher 4 to go through.
It’s not like they’re forcing you, or anyone, to play it. And it may come as a surprise to you, but not everyone has played it. The world doesn’t revolve around you.One of my best games of all times. Oh, I wasn’t aware you’d played it. Tell me more. It's not a remake or even a remaster, it's barely a soft polish to an aging game.
want to back that up? nah, didn't think so...It's not a remake or even a remaster, it's barely a soft polish to an aging game.

We’re working on the next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!
Developed to take advantage of the most powerful gaming hardware, the next-gen edition of the game will feature a range of visual and technical improvements — including ray tracing and faster loading times — across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content.
The next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release as a standalone purchase for PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, as well as a free update for everyone who already owns the game on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
thank you for posting. As there seems to be some confusion, from the press release when this upgrade was announced.

that's correct or at least the general idea. It's both, I'm pretty sure? I mean that it's gonna be a Ghost of Tsushima situation where you can either update your PS4 version or buy the native PS5 version, and in either case you end up with the same thing.
