Half-naked woman, 26, is charged with indecent exposure for 'masturbating on street-level patios in front of horrified onlookers'

A semi-nude woman was arrested in Austin for pleasuring herself on two street-level patios, according to court documents.

Dovie Nickels, 26, was charged with indecent exposure for the Tuesday arrest that occurred near the JW Marriot Austin hotel at approximately 5.20pm.

Responding officers found Nickels sitting alone at a patio table at the Second Bar + Kitchen on the 200 block of Congress Avenue, an arrest affidavit obtained by the Statesman.

When they approached the woman, police said that Nickels had stopped moving her arms and brought them from under the table.

Officers then noted that the woman 'was not wearing any pants.'

While being handcuffed, police reported that Nickels continued masturbating in the back seat of a patrol car.

Authorities then spoke with a JW Marriot employee who said that the woman had been at the hotel's street level patio just earlier in the day.

The staff member added that he saw Nickels 'holding a silver object' to her crotch 'with her legs straight up in the air, spread open.' He added that he 'could hear Nickels making moaning noises,' the affidavit states.

When the employee tried to approach the woman, he told police that she started yelling at him to get back.

He added that the woman was masturbating at the hotel 'for approximately 7 or 8 minutes' before rushing off to the next area.

Nickels is currently being held at the Travis County Jail with a bail set $3000.

Horrified onlookers... Oh the horror, imagine what she might do to you next.

It's a shame that police wastes its time with such bullshit. Let her masturbate all she wants. It's not even that she was specifically trying to show it off, she was just doing it.

I see no harm in this. Most people, including me, will choose not to do it though. But I see no reason to make it illegal or to waste police resources on it.
I'm sure nothing bad will come from having people jerk off wherever they feel like. Go to the park with your kids, there's the swings, and by that bench there's a woman fingering herself, off you go children have fun. Having dinner, guy jerking off next table, awesome.

Most people will chose not to do lots of things, they're still illegal for a reason.

Is it fine to do at a nudist resort? Asking for a friend.

Yes, I am sure nothing bad will come of this. It is a victim less crime. And victim less crimes should, in my eyes, always be no crimes. (And before you start talking about environmental crimes: They are not victimless, because all of humanity suffers from crimes against the environment, but from someone masturbating, literally no one suffers)

Whatcha gonna do when they cum for you.
Where's @Scopa when you need him?
And more importantly, at what point did he officially get assigned the cum closet in GAF canon? I'm behind on my local memes.

Does that mean you're down to clown with indecent exposure? Where does the buck stop?

Since no one owned up to it, it has become du jour to pin it on me. For the record, it wasn’t me.

EDIT: The chick in the OP reminds me of an uglier Daria Gavrilova.

Alright.
Piracy is a victimless crime, should we legalize it.
Using some hard drugs in my house is a victimless crime, should we legalize it.

Having to deal with some man/woman rubbing one out while you try to have dinner is not a victimless crime, everyone around you has to deal with the unpleasant sounds and smells.

How about spray-painting a reproductive organ on a notable public monument?
The issue is not the reproductive organ but the spray-painting. It is allegedly not the spray-painter's property and thus it is altering, without owner's permission, a good. Not victimless.

Not victimless, because piracy circumvents monetisation of work.

I agree, a victimless crime. However, if you happen to harm anyone while on the drug, I am in favor of treating it as planned action.

The restaurant's owner can just send the person away.

If someone had no intentions of buying your work, you lose absolutely nothing with them pirating it, so you are in no way a victim (You won't even know someone pirated it)

Alright so meth should be legal, that going to work out great.

How about speeding? It also a victimless crime, as long as you don't crash, why should I be fined?

Can I send someone away for disturbing me? If not, if it's a public space, does everyone just have to put up with it?
Kinda weird having to explain why I don't want to go to dinner, and have a man/woman jerk off next to kids.

Great fucking job on apologizing degenerate behavior.

Let‘s assume the following scenario:
You are at the park with your 8 years old daughter. While she is playing with other kids you are talking to a buddy you met there. When you are done and turn around, you see a fat hairy dude sitting on the park bench with his pants down, frantically stroking his fat cock, while looking your daughter dead in the eye with a mad grin.

You are ok with that right? No harm done?

Get your life together dude.

Let's assume the following scenario:
Everyone who demonstrates that he is not interested in a proper discussion, but instead tries to frame unrelated discussions with pedophilia insinuations will go to ignore.

I just gave you an example which would be consequence of tolerating this kind of behavior unpunished.

Be my guest and ignore it for the sake of your shortsighted argument that it is a victimless crime.

Surprised a woman was doing this. There are crazy people everywhere though and it isn't defined by sex, class, race, etc. I hope she gets help from friends and family.

Really man? You see no issues with public masturbation? You don't think that would be extremely inappropriate (especially in front of children) and distracting. If I feel like running around naked and urinating everywhere should I?

Inappropriate? Yes, I would not do that, but harmful? No. Running around naked is fine with me, urinating everywhere not.

If urination is not ok then why is cumming ok? Both are bodily fluids expelled through the nether regions. I also would say me and my hypothetical children would be harmed physchologically from seeing a person stimulate themselves infront of us. It is gross, indecent, and disturbing. I do not want to see a penis or vagina out in the open. Do sexual things at your home in private, not in front of everyone (and hopefully with a spouse).
