After the way they were buried Monday night on commentary and then losing the titles, they should be very worried for Friday. Although Otunga is rich and has it made so he doesn't really need the job anyway.

What happens when you bury Otunacutty by calling them the "bland leading the bland" last week. Of course no one wanted to watch the match this week.
The live Smackdown on 8/30 in Wichita is going to combine both Raw and Smackdown talent. I would think WWE will push it hard, hoping to draw a big number for the live Tuesday show, which to convince Syfy to get it off Friday.

Is there a direct correlation with how well multigenerational wrestlers do relative to the success of their fathers?

The Rock:Rocky Johnson- He was way before my time but I think it's still safe to say Rock surpassed him easily.

Cowboy Bob Orton: Randy Orton: This is a guess because again, before my time.

Then you have guys like Dibiase, Rhodes, McGillicutty. Granted, it's early in their career.

Raw is must watch TV again. CM punk is saving wrestling from the utter blandness and predictability of the Cena/Orton era.
And I'm really happy with this one last Nash run, doing what he does best.

100% Right Bobo..I remember the old times when Cole wasn't such an ass and actually was able to put over talent once in awhile in his commentary.. no matter heel or face..

Yup. Can't remember the last time he put anyone over, even a heel. Burying with terrible commentary is all he does now.

I like the monthly refreshers. Keeps everything contained into their own "chapters" of the Wrassle-GAF book, plus makes going back to find stuff easier than a continuous thread would.

Cole should go back to being just an announcer.I remember when The Rock would make fun of kevin kelly and use words I didnt know the meaning of then.

Just like to come in and have a decent discussion without filtering through Gallant's ridiculous anime drawings, dumb gifs of Randy drooling on himself and dumb jokes that only a child would find funny. Bragging about the post count in a monthly thread that has little discussion outside of Mondays, occasionally Thursdays, Fridays and a PPV really isn't saying much. Aside from responses to dream's weekly Observer posting and the ocassional nostalgia WrassleGAF, there's hardly any discussion in here related to actual wrestling. Would rather just see the thread bumped for quality discussion than seeing it bumped for dumb joke post no. 9357 or whatever. As I said, I'm not the only one that shares this belief, just other people decide to quit coming in rather than contribute and filter through the garbage.

I don't think it's as bad as you make it out to be. I personally find the gifs insanely amusing, mostly because people seem to find attach the perfect ones to responses.

And there's plenty of discussion after Raw and whatnot. Tuesday-Thursday is pretty dull, so that's probably why we joke around a lot. I'm just happy to have a community of fellow wrasslin' fans to speak with. I wouldn't give up this thread for the world. If it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't be posting on GAF. *tear*

Just went to see Super 8 and picked up 2 spotpasses at the cinema. One of them had his phrase set to "Booyaka Booyaka" so I'm guessing he was a fellow wrassle fan! I hope he got a kick out of my "WWWYKI BRO!" greeting as well :)

Really? That annoys you but the fact he constantly calls Brine pathetic for not taking advantage and cashing in on a fallen champion. When Brine announced he was saving the case for Wrestlemania during Cole's interview when Cole was claiming he'd be pathetic and cash it in on a downed champion doesn't?

Cole's fucking atrocious at his Job, he doesn't nothing but annoy the viewer when he should be putting over everybody on the roster.

He was pretty normal on Raw, wishful thinking but maybe the heel Cole is dead.

But he could just snap on Smackdown and be like his old self when DBrine comes on, time will tell.
