Xbox 360 hitting its stride in March

wait, isn't Gears of War coming out in March? my EB told me March and I even pre-ordered it in full...
Considering no one has it listed.. and not even EB's own site has a March date... I'd say no.

Yeah, Blazing Angels is a port, but it looks damn good. They are upgrading the amount of planes in the sky and graphics for the 360 - kind of like Need for Speed (I was more then happy with that). Ubisoft usually does a good job with flying games anyway.

Plus there is no other flight games coming out that look worth a damn anyway.

Rumble Roses for me might have a chance to subplant Dead or Alive as my guilty pleasure tits game... I'm happy with DOA 4, but not happy that they are going to hose us on downloadable costumes. I'll only be able to sadly play this in the morning and when the wife is away though as she will kill me for getting it. I barely can pull of playing Dead or Alive without her getting all bent. And really, I want it cause I love wrestling games too, and it is the first for the 360- tits or no tits.

I wasn't hot on Burnout until I recently realized that Full Auto isn't going to do anything for me it seems from the demo. I loved Burnout 3, but held off on playing Revenge due to the impending 360 version.

GRAW and Oblivion for me as well. Moto GP would be cool but I dont put the time into racing games that I used to.

*sigh* you Brits...

The new Tomb Raider is shaping up great, from all reports!

Don't give up on the game yet. Crystal Dynamics is behind the title so it should be above average at the very worst!

Oh, and as for the title, I'll be picking up GRAW and Oblivion in March.

Tomb Raider in April.

I would buy Burnout Revenge on 360 if it were 40 bucks or less. 60 dollars is too much for a PS2 port which is around 20 dollars.

Outfit is a maybe at the moment, depending on how it turns out. Relic normally delivers the goods.

Most of those games for March look worthy of buying. You can kick me in the balls now cause when I see The Outft out on shelves thats an instant buy for me-the game is at the top of my list. I'm just glad its March and not Febuary for all those releases though. I still haven't gotten around to renting Kameo or Quake 4 yet. I thought the Q4 demo was damn fun.

EDIT-Tomb Raider is also releasing in March also? Please let it return to the greatness that it once had. I'd welcome this game with a purchase if it was a decent game, love the franchise.

I hope that 5.5 is false. I had high hopes for this game
I wouldn't be surprised, if the slowdowns are still there then this game deserves every bad scores it could get.
I think GRAW will be the best game of March on Xbox 360 at least, I was looking at my videos yesterday and it's really a very very nice looking game, and the AI is really interesting too. I hope I'll be able to put these videos online next week, the wait is killing me.

Whats stopping you? NDA?
I did not sign anything, but Ubisoft asked me to wait and I'm not about to kill the first hope of support they ever gave us by not doing this by the rules.

Works for me.* :)

* = If I can get my hands on even a Core later this month.

To the topic creator... I think you're overrating several of those titles. Ghost Recon, Oblivion, and Fight Night are the only interesting ones there imo. Fight Night is in 2 weeks as well.

Burnout = port
Battlefield 2 = pc port, graphics look bad. A PC game is not next-gen
Blazing Angels = who cares
The Outfit = haven't seen any recent media of this, the early pics didn't look much better than a PC game
Rumble Roses = no thanks

Graw, Oblivion, FN are the games to get over the next 60 days... maybe Prey after that in April. Saint's Row in the Summer if it doesn't get pushed back.

Full Auto in February... hoping they nail the framerate!
GRAW... never really played any of these so I better like the multiplayer...
Rumble Roses... as you probably can tell by now I really enjoyed the first game in the series.

I always smile when I see people belittle certain titles because they might be on the PC. The question I always ask is can you get the game to look and perform better on the PC for the same cost as a console. Most of the time the answer is no. So if you will end up spending $600+ on a PC capable of playing a certain game better than a console what are you proving? If you have enough money you can play a game that has slightly better graphics and MAYBE a smoother framerate? Doesn't sound like much to brag about to me.

That said, I look forward to getting Oblivion on 360. I know its just a PC port but my PC won't play it as well and I don't want to play it on my PC.

The Dark One

damn... hope I can find one soon :)

Blazing Angels - is this a port up? (ubi's site says xbox and 360 version are coming?)

GRAW looks hot

Fight Night looks hot

motoGP is making my pants tight :D

edit: I don't care if it is a port-up... it looks fuckin' GORGEOUS!

Don't think so...

Burnout is now a mainstream title.... Regardless of if it is 85% port job, it is still adding a really nice online mode for Xbox Live. It will get at least an 8.5 in reviews from most sites. People eat this racing series up.

Battlefield 2 is not a port of the PC title (many wish that it was). It has graphical updates that rival the PC title, if not surpassing them in some instances, and is leagues better looking then the current gen versions that came out in 2005. They are tweaking the 1P game as well.. It might get dwarfed by GR:AW, but it still will sell well because of the minimal titles in the 360 library.

Blazing Angels fills a genre that has no representation in next gen, and probably will do alright and get decent ratings..

Despite how the Outfit looks in screenshots, it looks good in motion, and fills that "OMG I need a next Gen Mercenaries game!" niche that a lot of people seem to have. Should be driven on sales due to Xbox live content alone.

Rumble Roses is also a genre filling title, first wrestling game on the 360. Anyways, it probably will sell well due to the small amount of titles on the system and all the tit-hound gamers out there that will buy it because of that. Just cause it has tits doesn't mean it is a bad game. The wrestling engine inside it is actually maybe better then anything that was on the old Xbox system before.

Well I mean current-gen and last year PC graphics shouldn't look as good as these 360 games that aren't rushed and have full dev time, don't you think? Battlefield 2 for example looks awful imo... I've no idea when the pics/movies were posted of that game here why many said it looked hot -- it looked TERRIBLE. Give me UE 3.0 level graphics or bust for next-gen... at least for these big budget titles by monster devs.

I find it hard to believe they're all going to ship on time in March, especially Oblivion.

Also... RE: Full Auto... it's from the guys who made Cel Damage. Why were people expecting it to be amazing? Apparently the only other thing they did was work on the cancelled Vectorman game for PS2. I really think expectations should be toned way down for the game...

I am sure some of those games will miss their mark. I might renew my gamefly account. I have a hard time accepting the $60 price tag.
