Xbox Live Arcade Thread for Xbox 360 games

Great thread. Subscribed. I'm in for KI and Crimson Dragon on day one. I'll get both Powerstar Golf and Lococycle as well if the word of mouth is good.
This is an accurate, but rather confusing thread title.

I do wonder though - do any of the other Xbox One downloadable games have Demos outside of Killer Instinct?

Perhaps change it to Xbox Live Games for Xbox One? Or something. Welcome to suggestions.

I know Powerstar Golf doesn't as they said on the Twitch stream, might come later.
Great thread, nice to have it separate from the XBLA thread.

KI is not F2P and is a gig bigger, i think that's just the install size.

I'm really hoping Super Time Force comes to the One as well my 360 is going in the kids room.= with my XBLA library.

Eeh, that reminds me of Games for Windows more than anything :p

Maybe just:

I still can't get over Lococycle's filesize. Damn.

Want to play:
-Killer Instinct
-Crimson Dragon
-Max: CoB
-Project Spark
-Trials Fusion

-More Rare IPs
-State of Decay 2
-Splosion Man 3
-Joy Ride Turbo 2 (Don't look at me that way. I loved the XBLA game)
-Shadow Complex 2
-Geometry Wars 3 (don't let this IP rot, Activision)
I really hope Lococycle has a demo, the press hands on so far have been not kind, we'll here more with the reviews today but I've always loved the Twisted Pixel stuff.

I'm with you, the Image Quality on that game was brill, Stunt Park is my go to game with my little boy.
So $20 where can we peg that in pounds? Hopefully around £14ish.
£16.99 actually( fuck you MS and your digital extortion).

You know whats fucked up though, it's only £3.99 a character( still too much, fuck you MS), £3.99* 4 = £15.96. From what MS were saying if you buy four characters they give you the rest of them free. Makes no sense.
Just letting people know. I bought KI for $20 and later went to unlock the full pack which retails at $40. I should be charged $20 to bridge the gap but it's still trying to charge me $40 . this is an error which hasn't been fixed yet.

Also for the $20 pack it comes with 2 stages. You have to unlock the remaining 4 with in game creds.
A little more information. Chris Charla told me on twitter that the announcement of games for early 2014 was put back by 2 weeks due to launch and US holidays so we should get some news around 6th December (give or take):

‏@Steverulez 21 Nov
@iocat Hi Chris. You mentioned a list of announcements for @ID_Xbox was coming "in a couple of weeks" is that happening next week?

@Steverulez It got pushed back a bit due to some launch stuff. Then next week is a big US holiday so "two weeks" remains accurate.
Supererogatory then posted this: I don't know who these @ID_Xbox developers are, but I'm sure you can read something into the accounts @ID_Xbox follows.
The people ID@Xbox is following are (Twitter profile is the name, game/company website links or Youtube link to a game if no website)

Exato Game studio // Guncraft
Xona Games // Some XNA Indie games (mainly Schmups?)
Oneksoft Games // Angry Zombie Ninja Cats (XNA Indie game)
Cellar Door Games // Rogue Legacy
Amplitude Studios // Endless Space
Compulsion Games // Contrast
Capybara Games // Super TIME Force for 360 and Below for Xbox One
Sparse Vector // Go Plague Money! Go! and Super Amazing Wagon Adventure (XNA Indie Games)
The Instruction Limit (Renaud Bedard) // Worked on Fez and many other games
Phil Tibitoski // Octodad
The Odd Gentlemen // The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom (Website won't scroll for me so maybe borked?)
Mojang (Daniel Kaplan) // Minecraft and Cobalt both announced for Xbox One
Die Gute Fabrik (Douglas Wilson) // Where is my Heart + others
Double Fine Productions // Massive Chalice, Iron Brigade, Stacking etc
Supergiant Games // Transistor and Bastion
Chris Hecker // Spy Party
Vlambeer // Ridiculous Fishing and Super Crate Box
Necrosoft Games (Brandon Sheffield) // Worked on Sine Mora and Oh, Deer!

We know MS are launching first with a small group of experienced developers, not all the games above will come to Xbox One for obvious reasons but certainly interesting to see who they have followed, would love to play stuff like Transistor, obviously many other developers registered too.
Looking forward to Peggle 2 (already updated OP with the date) and Halo: Spartan Assault due out in December too.

ID@Xbox announcements this week at some point too (i'll update OP with info although i've got an operation tomorrow so might be delayed if they announce before Thursday)

I've been playing Powerstar Golf quite a lot, I really like it a good game to go in and out of but also i've put in some quite long sessions too.

Mostly being doing the career mode, getting it wrong with the wind a lot though :(
LocoCycle was a fun, if short, experience that im glad i bit the bullet to check out. really funny and light hearted. the last hour or so of that game made me laugh so hard. street fighter and a really cheesy blade runner quote is all i'll say for now.

Powerstar Golf is good fun. not very good at golf games, but i keep coming back to it because of challenges and the really smart use of rpg like elements when you level up and buy new equipment.

excited for Halo Spartan Assault and D4.
Updated the OP with the ID@Xbox stuff, still waiting on a few more game announcements and hopefully this thread will pick up a bit... haha.

Everyone buy Powerstar Golf
