Didn't they say that they were (originally at least) going to redo all 6 episodes, and the PS Xenogears didn't fit in that timeline at all? I thought it was a total remake of the saga if you will. Kinda like trying to fit Snake's Revenge into the MGS timeline or something, just not the same universe.

Yeah, I mean, with my previous post I wasn't saying it isn't news for the Xenofans or anything--he was in Episode I for like 5 seconds, but details surrounding him are a bit more fleshed out this time around--but I have a feeling that the arguement that will ensue in this thread will make me want to murder people in the face

I haven't really put time into my copy of Xenosaga 1 let alone Xenosaga 2, and it's been so long since Xenogears...I surely don't remember much of anything expect for an ending full of butt naked characters...I guess something like that would be hard to forget after 60+ hours and that's the conclusion.

He should be making contact (or have already made contact by Episode I and be in the Zohar) in this episode, thus leading to episode 4-6 which will have a different set of characters (matching with Xenogears).

At least that's my theory...and hope.

Well I would hope some of the 1-3 characters carry over in some fashion. But yeah, that'd be nice.
