Sega will release a demo for Yakuza: Kiwami 2 in Japan in late November, it has been confirmed.

From December 2 to 17, Sega also plans to broadcast TV commercials in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and other cities.

Video advertisements will run from late October to early January, and online advertisements will run from late November to mid-December.

Hopefully this time its not like Yakuza 6 where you had to basically download the whole game.

I think its cool that the furthest back in the series I'll have to go, gameplay-wise, is Yakuza 3. It can be hard to get into long-running series when you have to play multiple games from multiple gens ago to get up to date or catch up. Especially with something like Yakuza where they've been iterating the gameplay for over a decade.
