Figured I'd get it for the cheap price that's on offer finally but I noticed about 10 minutes in most of the kills I was getting were labeled AI and out of the 30 something players in the match only 3 were real players. I did a server browse and the majority again, were mostly bots. I don't understand how for a game with about 15,000+ players between 3 platforms that everything is so empty.

Probably just the first few games to gauge your skill level and what lobbies to put you in. Fortnite and CoD do this too.

I haven’t touched a Battlefield game since Battlefield 4. Something went missing from their games after that. Iirc a lot of the community still plays the previous entries. Does the game still use a web browser to queue games?

Close quarters is one of the best DLCs ever made for an FPS

Probably just the first few games to gauge your skill level and what lobbies to put you in. Fortnite and CoD do this too.

I'll give it another try, I'll give it another hour and refund if I can't figure out this bot issue. Every game is literally filled with bots and a few players and server browser isn't much help

The browser based Battlelog was pretty much ditched with BF3, doesn't work too well these days as I couldn't get a game to load up last year BF4 onwards luckily uses an in-game server browser so they work fine

I run into this depending on the time of day. Most days I don't see any or at most like 3-4 per 64 players which doesn't bother me.

Bought on pre-order thinking that we would finally have the BF4 with new graphics that most of the fans wanted for years. Played like 2 or 3 matches of the beta and never touched that disaster again.

If I wanted to play COD I just played warzone for free.

Are you going into games through Portal? You keep mentioning the server browser, that is why I am asking.
From the start screen, press Conquest and then CQ64 or Breakthrough. These should be the most played modes.

I play the game weekly and have never once had an issue filling a 64 or 128 player match. Must be something on your end.

At least the game has bots to fill matches.

Never the less, the key thing are the bot quality. Are BF bots good or are they dogshit?

Not sure, every time i play its full of players. Maybe its crossplay being off? or the game mode you picked?

The game was officially deemed in it EoL period so players have dropped it.

It's a shame but generally what happens. You'll find when the next battlefield gets announced it'll have a spike again

At least it has bots. Other games in the franchise are unplayable unless you go to those hectic private sweaty servers

I picked up the game for at the launch of the 6th season, played for about 6 hours. Tried to get back into it for season 7 cannot stand the gameplay and the annoying yelling from the characters. Went back to BF5. I figured the game was good now, but I don't think there is a way to fix what's wrong with it. It just feels "off"

Game is on gamepass so I got full 128 players servers.

I only play with the bots now.

For one, they look really fucking sick, like actual future soldiers with helmet visors and high tech plate carriers.

And two, they give me health and ammo when I request it.

I built a server that feels like BF4 Hardcore called "Battlefield Rapid Strike". Here's a discord link if anyone would like to join. - https://discord.gg/yTae4DUf

4-5 shot Pistols, 4 shot SMG's, 3 shot AR's, 2 shot DMR's and 1 shot Snipers.

Soldiers and vehicles have 60% health and bullet drop is more extreme like BF4 making the sniping have some actual challenge to it.

Running speed is also slower and there is no tactical sprint or sliding.

All of the bots, fly jets and helicopters and the A.I. and vehicle spawn rate is twice as fast as the normal game so there is always action taking place.

I also locked all of the specialists gadgets so the game is back to normal class play. No more grappling hooks or wingsuits. No more horseshit.

And every time I play this now, even if I'm by myself I have an enjoyable time, which I can't say about the default cluster fuck of a game.

Here are some short videos of how it plays. I turn my HUD off as well to maximize the immersion and so the bots are on a more even playing field.

They can actually put of a decent fight on the hardest difficulty and often win matches.

Yea have no idea why they brought bots into these games but I stopped because of that. My cousin did show me a way to mostly get away from it but I forgot. I think we went to the small conquest 64 vs 64. Maybe even 32 v 32. Now Respawn has taken over and I doubt bots will ever be removed. That company is obsessed with bots in their MP games.
