language is bit vague here as it might refer to ps4 only sales or ps4+ps3+handhelds but 10 months is reference to PS4 launch date which suggests it's more likely to be ps4 only.

Any idea if 100,000 consoles sold in Poland after 6 months is particularly good? I would probably say it is but that's a gut feeling on the size of the market

Yea and i think that is why the 3ds is not as successful in UK compared to the rest of europe. £35 to €35 to $35. They should not expect success here

Did they even market metro? I'm sure last of us had marketing with bundles. Our maybe people are buying it digitally as it's not that costly

I would say 100k is extremely good after 6 months. Poland is a lot poorer than developed economies in Europe, it has lower population than biggest countries in Europe and it has been traditionally a strong PC gaming market. Considering all these I think 100k is great when for example in Germany the numbers are 540k for PS4.

I'm not sure you can say that a 25% decline is not an excessive decline. It's still quite huge. Especially when we look at the COD sales at its peak and now. Losing 1.2 million customers in 3-4 years is ridiculous.

Wow Wii has 3 times as many games on the German charts as Wii U this week

Metro Redux seems to be doing much better in Germany than elsewhere which makes sense to me

I wonder if Diablo on XB1 will be out of the charts next week

Dropped nearly 20 places in week. It'll be out of the charts.

Also very pleased to see Metro do well.

As far as I recall, ESO bombed quite hard and wasn't even that popular in its free beta phase.

But I think a few developers and publishers were taken by surprise concerning the praise and sales that recent SP-games received, e.g. Wolfenstein or even Metro. Although the latter seems to have a harder standing in the US than in Europe.

First game for the console ranked #34 in the country vs 3 games in the top-7 for PS4, that's basically not giving a shit.

Bloodbath. And with online gaming behind a paywall, a bloodbath with strong feedback over bloodbathing.

2 XB1 titles in the German top 50 is the most positive news for MS in a long time.

There simply are no logical reasons to buy it over PS4 unless someone is die hard Microsoft first party fan.

The sales numbers combined with Sony's announcement of 1M sold in the UK means that TLoU has an attach rate of ~15%. That's pretty damn good.

There was an announcement recently that there'd been 2.5M downloads of a new free DLC car in GT6 which is quite impressive for a game 9 months after release. The game was just 1 year too late, and deserved far better than it got.

We can predict Destiny sales and its platform split.

Predictions:

Destiny - 600,000

PlayStation 4 - 49%
Xbox One - 31%
Old-generation consoles - 20%

P.S. Even if we can't estimate its sales with the usual PR note, we will latter have a way to have a good idea about how much it sold since MCV will publish overall software sales for week 37, 2014.
