Sony Korea's president mentioned that basically every major developer in Korea had approached them about working on the PS4. One of my big hopes for this gen is that we see something that kickstarts single player developed Korean games. Their art and battle systems are amazing, but they tend to be locked behind MMO's.

Yea there are some possibilities but I don't think there will be anything major. Maybe some indie and smaller titles.
Maybe there will be some new info on Kingdom Under Fire 2.

Was excited to see the press conference being on the 11th at the title because I could've watched it then. Saw the 4th and was kinda let down. Damn exams! Anyway, the only thing I'm interested in this conference is a possible sold through figures announcement. Other thab that, I don't think we should expect anything else.

We'll see PC ports of their MMOs before we'd see single player Korean games though. And the former hasn't happened yet to trigger the latter.

more xonic dlc announcement please. so western release have have a plethora of content to be had.
I know they work with universities there but don't recall anything about opening a studio.

If yakuza gets an actual localization instead of a lazy 'hey here's a book with dialogue in it' then I'll be really happy
That'd be cool. I remember people liking MagnaCarta 2, and Softmax hasn't released a new console game since.
Sony said it's one of the biggest growth markets for Playstation this gen.

More importantly, he was feeling the love in the room because PlayStation is a Japanese brand, and he felt like the crowd had been so loving and supportive whereas Koreans usually show a great deal of disdain and vitriol towards any and all things Japan.
He has such a great job. Paris one month, Seoul the next, then San Franciso the next.
