It's the same ideological balance it's been for years, it's not like Gorsuch replaced a liberal judge.
Of all the things the President has done, this Transgender banning agenda has gotten me the angriest. Like, how fucking petty and hateful do you have to be to go out of your way to target people literally willing to lay their lives down for the country you're nominally in charge of?

This is nothing more than an evil, spiteful move. The GOP should be livid that Trump wants to go after the armed forces and reduce its strength, but none of them have the backbone to step up. Every one of them far greater cowards than any transgender person, who have had to go through untold torture just for existing.

Trump doesn't know the meaning of right and wrong. He has no value system so those concepts are empty to him. Legality is merely an obstacle you throw money at to make it go away.

SCOTUS can decide that it is--that equal protection requires heightened scrutiny of gender identity based discrimination.
Right, but it requires a SC ruling, which seems unlikely given the current composition of the court, and without it, transgender people are still unprotected.

He tends to get orientation issues. There's not a lot of evidence that he gets gender issues. Grimm would have been an indication, but they decided not to hear it, which doesn't really fill one with confidence. Anyway, got my fingers crossed that he stays in place and votes right.
