Best thing this guy could do is open up his profile for a day or two so people can see he is updating. Not lock it down like all his friends are saying.

Reminds of when the media kept running the wrong picture of the Neda girl who was shot and killed during Iran's failed green revolution. The picture was of a very much alive student with the same name as the girl that was killed in the protests. The protest signs with Neda's picture? That was the wrong girl. When she tried to correct the media, they ran her picture again. She ended up having to flee the country once the Iranians found her.

This Lanza kid's fb is still getting swamped with threats, accusations, and slander... this isn't going to go away for a while, not everyone stays up to date on the news.

I totally agree that they have to be careful with that type of thing, but right now...we don't know that they posted (if pics were) anything that was incorrect. People here raced to get info, posted the same exact picture but then the screenshot popped up. I'm of the opinion that either one or both pieces of info could be wrong. Could be the wrong Lanza. Could be a fake screenshot. Doesn't really hurt me to wait and see.

We're on the same page though with this, the media should be mindful of this. But I'm not quite ready to jump to the conclusion that they posted a picture of the wrong Lanza. I don't know what the right Lanza looks like, and I don't know for sure that isn't his facebook. You know?
