I can't tell, but in less than 48 hours the build will start. It will be very interesting and many will be able to witness it and participate their thoughts with the builders and supporting team. It will be probably unexpected, IMO very cool and I hope very interesting. Once the build is done, the play will commence
Can someone break down how micro transactions work in this game. I know Forza 5 does it, but I only just found out GT6 might be doing something similar as well. Despite this being one of my fave franchises, if it locks on the disc gameplay behind DLC pay walls, they can fuck right off. Any details would be appreciated.
Although I completely agree with the fight Solal is fighting, I am to annoyed with his constant exchaning of "gameplay" with "grinding", so I actually never took time to give my opinion on this. I agree with Jumbo, it is by not idea or chance designed to take advantage of "Forza 5" micro-transactions systems (it should be called macro-transactions for Forza IMO), but to make some cash available to people that would love to drive some cars and they do not have time or patience to play.
Take this for example:
It is 1,000.000 Cr "bundle" that have nice mix of racecar, supercars and street cars. As we learned, "in-game credits will be purchasable through PS Store or your friendly local retailer at the following denominations: 500K, 1 million, 2.5 million or 7 million credits which youll be able to apply in-game for cars and parts."

We still have to see how exactly system of rewards will work in-game, but as long as GT5 example can be used, with nice mix of Seasonal Events and Daily Login Bonus applied, the net amounts of 500.000 Cr per 5-lap race should not be an issue at all. Once the B-Spec gets updated, the Remote Play will do wonders and new addition in forms of Online Quick Races (basically daily matchmaking) will allow for significant "non-grinding"rewarding.
About planned DLC, yes, the strategy of monthly DLC has been outlined at Silverstone event in May and we learned there will be different types of constant DLC coming to the GT6:
- cars
- tracks
- Course Maker "locations" (in veins of Ronda)
- in-game tuning parts (as rims for instance)
- probably some gear (paints, helmets, suits, etc).
However, if the GT5 experience is applied - and remember how the GT5 DLC was constantly changing prices of the content, I presume because they've actually used it to test the response of the audience on the prices - we may expect that DLC prices remain the same more-less (5$ per track-pack, 1$ per car).
Well, PS4 is out and Sony's marketing machine will spun up for GT6.
There is still a lot of info about the online experience that we don't know about.
Yes, this. I presume majority of information will actually be revealed on the official site with the start of Ronda World Launch Premiere Event that starts on December 2nd and span to December 3rd.
