Not sure if want Spike Chunsoft. So long as Chunsoft is left alone to their own devices and they just get bigger budgets to work with...

Good to see Nintendo's marketing money being put to good use in both the west and the east!

Nice scores for FabStyle 3DS.

Aren't they the same company?

;p
Nope. Konami does Mega Man, and Capcom does Castlevania, independently.

Wow. Nice scores for Batman. For some reason I don't really think of Famitsu giving good reviews to western games, what are some other ones they really enjoyed?

I think they once gave a perfect score to a western FPS or two, dont recall w/c ones though. There's a list of the perfect scores somewhere, I think.

EDIT: My mistake, they didn't. Here's the perfect score list:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998, Nintendo, for Nintendo 64)[9]
Soulcalibur (1999, Namco, for Dreamcast)[10]
Vagrant Story (2000, Square Co., for PlayStation)[10]
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (2003, Nintendo, for Nintendo GameCube)[10]
Nintendogs (2005, Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)[10]
Final Fantasy XII (2006, Square Enix, for PlayStation 2)[10]
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008, Nintendo, for Wii)[11]
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (2008, Konami, for PlayStation 3)[12]
428: Fūsa Sareta Shibuya de (2008, Sega, for Wii)[13]
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (2009, Square Enix, for Nintendo DS)[14]
Monster Hunter Tri (2009, Capcom, for Wii)[15]
Bayonetta (2009, Sega, for Xbox 360)[16]
New Super Mario Bros. Wii (2009, Nintendo, for Wii)[17]
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (2010, Konami, for PlayStation Portable)[18]
Pokémon Black and White (2010, Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)[19]
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (2011, Nintendo, for Wii)

A couple of western FPS games got a near perfect score of 39, but no Western game has yet to get straight 10's... well, except the recently scored Arkham City game... :p

I'm quite happy with the Saint Seiya Senki score - just hope it turns out fun. I used to be such a Saint Seiya fan when I was a kid...

Famitsu used to give 40/40 very rarely. Still, this will do I suppose. I am sure it is going to be a great game.

Famitsu gave Modern Warfare 3 10/10/10/9 last week.

I'm an expert

Formerly worldrevolution. The only reason I am nice to anyone else is to avoid being banned.
Man I love FF12 but how the heck did it get a perfect score..

That's a surprisingly good score for FabStyle. Why the much better score for the 3DS version, I wonder. Isn't it only supposed to be an up-port?

I hate myself for asking this, but does this count on metacritic?

It's weird. It counted on Wind Waker but not on Twilight Princess.

Really? Did Metacritic ever count any other Famitsu reviews, or was it just Wind Waker?

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Ok, confirmed.

Famitsu is promising a feature on Kingdom Hearts 3D for next week's issue. A blurb in the back of the magazine this week says to expect details on the game's new worlds.

The next issue of Famitsu officially hits on the 24th. Famitsu info usually leaks out one day in advance of street date, although because Wednesday is a holiday, we may get the details as early as Tuesday.

Kingdom Hearts updates often include interviews with Tetsuya Nomura, and Tetsuya Nomura interviews often include little bits about Final Fantasy Versus XIII. It's fast approaching the time when Nomura should tell us that Versus XIII won't be at this year's Jump Festa, so even if you're not into Kingdom Hearts, be sure and check back next week!

All aboard the Lord Nomurasan hype gummi ship!

I would like the see a western publication take on this review formula

4 reviewers on a game on the 10 scale

hey Giantbomb don't you have 4 guys we can trust? wait u gave SS a 4?

I love that Chunsoft-Spike news, especially if it means that Spike does more graphic adventure stuff and Chunsoft does more not-graphic adventure stuff.

Dangan-ronpa looks like something Chunsoft would make.

I'm surprised that the Wii is the system with most perfect scores in Famitsu.

There's a scan floating around from Jump about KH3D... and it shows a little (very little) image of one of the new worlds, a Pinocchio world.
