If they have network issues day one, they are truly going to be the media's bitch.

This media?

This is what will actually happen:

"Online. Offline. What really matters here anyway? It's about the games, people. Consumers are so entitled. First you didn't want an always online console, now you're complaining because the system is having network problems? You guys are worse than a gulag and concentration camp all rolled into one."

*casually looks into that media members background*

"Hey, these systems better not have network problems. It's next-gen, the year 2013. This should not be an issue and we should expect more."

*people react harshly*
*journalist fails to understand why, blames gamers again*

It's a games machine first and foremost and plays it right out of the box, no need to update. You can't compare that to an Xbox One that doesn't work at all.

Compared it to PS3 which was clearly not first and foremost a games machine. It was a multimedia box, and thankfully, Sony got rid of that with the PS4. For the gamers.
