My room is getting remodeled so I had to put it in my sisters room and their is no space for it on her desk. It has feet so I didn't think it would be a big deal. Please don't hate me!

Swapped out the 690 for a 7970 Matrix:
Motherboard exploded, so swapped in a 4770K and a G1.Sniper Z87 M5 (only shitty pic of this):
Coolest project I worked on was a friend's custom build in a CaseLabs SM8:
Custom lights run by Raspberry Pi.

Yeah, the handles are each attached via four Phillips-head screws (two on each side), so they're easily removed / reattached. I left the bottom handles alone since they're raising the case up to allow airflow to the PSU, but I didn't see much point to the top ones.Wut, you can remove the handles ?
I can't say that I'm all that impressed with the audio solution. I think in the past, some of the Maximus boards used some sort of stripped down X-FI chip, but in this particular case, it's a beefed up Realtek. It's really a bit lacking for headphone usage -- sounds kind of congested / tinny, and lacking soundstage. It's merely adequate, but it at least lacks the interference "chirping" and "squealing" you sometimes hear with standard onboard audio, so the daughterboard layout seems to be doing its job. But then again, I'm comparing audio on a ~$200 motherboard to audio from a sound card (Xonar Essence) that cost $200 by itself, so it may not be a really fair comparison. I might start looking into USB DAC solutions...How are you liking the Impact? How's the onboard audio?

Here are a couple of crummy pics of the case, it's a Falcon Northwest Mach V case made by Silverstone that I had painted Lamborghini grigio telesto by Porsche concourse paint shop. Case has a real lambo matte black bull emblem from the sv on the front door.Water cooled rampage black motherboard, i7 980x etc..

Looks good. I don't understand why companies make shiny, reflective monitors though.
I was getting ready to say, I see a Lamborghini symbol on the case, that wouldn't happen to be Grigio Telesto would it? I see you confirmed it- Looks great! Here be mine:

What I did with my Prodigy is cut out a little spot to internally mount a NuForce uDAC 2, then just used a usb->internal header adapter. Might be something to think about doing with that 5.25" bay you want to use up. I still have the uDAC and can't even seem to give it away for free, so let me know if you want it.I can't say that I'm all that impressed with the audio solution. The board though, has some really slick overclocking and diagnostic bells and whistles built into both the board itself as well as the IO panel, including an LCD display in the rear that shows POST codes at boot and CPU temps during normal ops. I need to brush up on Haswell OCing though -- not used tweaking multipliers to OC, instead of FSB frequencies.
Btw, love how tidy and spare the routing looks with that copper(?) tubing you're using. What are those black tubes though?
Thanks, but you can't see my back panelsMkenyon's cable management is God tier.
Because the colors look way better.Looks good. I don't understand why companies make shiny, reflective monitors though.

Such a beast and not a single interesting game to play on it.Such beast.
Herne, is that an Amiga and a C64 in the background?
No inside pics since the access panel has two running fans. (Don't feel like shutting it down)
I hate these slide out keyboard drawers for an actual keyboard, but it makes a nice controller holder.
Nice setup. I see a Commodore over yonder, but is that an Amiga I see beside it? If so, what model, I don't recognize it.
No anti reflective matte makes for a much better image with nothing interfering with the clarity or darking of the image. If you're going to invest in a high end monitor might as well not distort or hide the image with a annoying coat of pixy dust. Obviously you need to control your lighting environment other wise you will get glare.
