That day and night switch feature is a Wii U-only thing or you can do it on the other consoles/PC?
Wii U only. Same for the traffic on/off thing.

just a note for the Gamespot youtube Video. It is said that co-driver mode changes the car's defence?
also turning off cops which seems to be the best thing ever. might cost you getting your speedpoints though
because crashing in traffic and police chase add to speedpoints right?
this game is pretty much changed
I wonder if the 6 instead of 8 online multy has anything to do with the PC textures of the game?
Not sure if someone replied directly to this, but the co-driver mode that's been mentioned lets you have control input as well rather than just a super basic on/off stuff mode. So it sounds like she would be able to play as the main driver and you can help out from the gamepad, including with steering if necessary.I hear you, but I don't want for her to be stuck exclusively on the Gamepad giving me driving instructions. At some point, she'll want to be doing the driving herself, and I'm asking if that portion of the game is casual accessible.
Wii U getting next gen engines (which is why they're not announced)? Riccitiello just screwing with us?Arkam came in and implied that while TW 14 is not Wii U, TW 15 will be. I dont know why they are skipping a year but there you have it.
Riccitiello: [laughs]EA: Everything went as planned.
From that Joystiq article:Has anyone here played the 360 or PS3 version? How does it compare because I looked at some footage on DF of the 360/PS3 version and could not see much, if any real difference between those and the PC one they showed.
(He reviewed the other versions of the game)The extra time was not spent in vain, something that became obvious once Most Wanted was up and running on a television. The Wii U port pulls in the PC assets and immediately sports a much longer draw distance and better frame rate than its console cousins. Having played my fair share of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the work that went into this Wii U version was clear and not just in graphical fidelity, either.
is analog trigger needed to play it?

nope. if you aren't fully on the gas at all times in a Criterion racer, you are likely doing it wrong.

Need For Speed Most Wanted U
It has been said mostly in the IGN video but is this a name change official or not?

MW changed that somewhat since cops will start chasing after you if you're speeding. That was one of the complaints with the game. You could be driving to your next race destination only to get caught speeding right before you get there. Then you'd have to spend the next several minutes just trying to lose them. Having analog triggers helped out somewhat with that since you could just push it down enough to stay right under the speed limit before flooring it once the cop is no longer in front of your car.
The title screen in the IGN video said Most Wanted U.Need For Speed Most Wanted U

took a break after 360 etc. version was done- came back with a small Wii U team- more RAM in the Wii U -> PC textures and assets lighting and draw distances better
Tell that to Nic Hamilton . He uses buttons in sims and his brother Lewis (yes the F1 guy) can't beat him.I feel like most people play most racing games this way anyway, and use old school button tapping fade techniques with quick full on, full off presses, even when gas and brake are analog.
IMO there just isnt enough play(distance) in analog triggers, for most players.
I guess that makes sense for more real world speed control, when you are not actually racing.

As opposed to the retail one magically saving on the disc?hope the storage device line means eShop version as well

Just finished watching the video..
it's great that the game is good looking .. awesome even BUT
this co-op thing doesn't interest me ..
They're making a easy game even more easy..i guess the only good thing now is that you can turn the trafficOff when you're attempting "needlepoint" ( everyone who has played Most wanted know what this events is )..and that's it.
-turning the traffic off ?
-repair on the go ?
-changing the wheather/day /night cycles ?
Sorry , but none of that interest me.
This is coming from someone who has plat the game on PS3, has a vita version and also has the pc version..
I love this game BUT this version has nothing intresting for me.
It's a good port ..so if you haven't played this game , do it
Made a post earlier in the Uplay community suggesting that if anyone wants anything to buy instead of Rayman then Need for Speed should be a game to buy along with Monster Hunter and Lego City Undercover. All three are clearly deserving of a purchase.
Lol is that community exclusively for bashing ubi now?Made a post earlier in the Uplay community suggesting that if anyone wants anything to buy instead of Rayman then Need for Speed should be a game to buy along with Monster Hunter and Lego City Undercover. what was the point of posting this to say you are not interested lol
things have been so cynical about Wii U support that I almost expect EA to announce a PC texture patch for PS360 versions to bring them on par with this
I'm calling it now, they are exaggerating and DF will expose them.
Didn't they say they added DLC to the game already as well? Seems like they really wanted to put together a good experience. The only thing I'm kinda curious about is six players online instead of 8.

Good luck with enjoying the same level of performance the PC users have, suckers!
