---1. Did this update brick your PS3?
---2. Define "brick" in your case
---3. If it did brick your system, how many times did you reboot your PS3 before it bricked?[/B]
what? who said this?Dot50Cal said:Err, guys? I turned my PS3 on to see if this was telling me to go back to the previous firmware and its not? I thought it was supposed to? Can anyone else confirm?
I won't tell you to go backwards. If you've already got the firmware, your fine. It's just people on 2.36 can't update at the moment.Dot50Cal said:Err, guys? domokunrox said:EDIT: I just noticed this, but I have theme setting inconsistencies. Today, I changed my theme to the default theme from a LBP theme I downloaded, but the background color was green. The 3rd reboot I made resulted in a Teal sort of color background. The 4th Reboot is now a black colored background and so far has stayed black for the 6th and 7th reboot.

Where in that article does it say it bricks consoles? That article talks about issues I haven't heard of yet, although I can vouch for the freezing on booting a game, since it happened to me - though it was via Remote Play.2 Minutes Turkish said:Yeah, it really is bricking consoles.
