I'm guessing he doesn't have a bomb on his back in the new photo.
So are the facial features. One looks to have a bit of facial hair, but the suspect looks clean shaven.
I'm not seeing the same person here. Cloths and hat are both different colors.

He has a longer coat in the "official" picture. If it was zipped up you wouldn't see that much of his pants.

He looks a lot different to me, the right one looks older, his skin is a different lighter tone, he has facil hair. Seems hispanic or asian to me.
On the matter of clothing the one on the right has a Black T-shirt inside, as opposed to a White one, He lacks sunglasses, different color coat and different Cap.
Also he is in the company of a lady, the first one was always alone.
Also he first one was always in front on White cap dude, which leds to me believe he already was far in the left on the pic.

Only thing that makes me question it, is that (I think) you can see his (beige) hood sitting on his right shoulder, as though the jacket would be unzipped, but the black clothing is right up to his neck - which suggests it's two separate items of clothing, because if it were zipped right to the neck I don't think the hood would be resting like that.
Im not convinced that is not a photoshop due to that line in the picture and the exact same head location

Yeah I really see no resemblance except the guy is wearing khakis and a hat. Other than that pretty much everything is different.

No its just theres a very straight line at his hood level. Between the black jumper and grey hood. But probably an enlargement issue too. Just a lot of straight black pixels.

The suspect does not have any discernable red on his jacket either, but the pic of the other guy does.
The hats are at slightly different angles. It's not a head swap.

I agree with this. I don't think his jacket is zippered up, look at the corners of the grey hood, they have not moved. I think suspect 1 has a white shirt on underneath his jacket whereas this dude has a black shirt on.

So he is missing since March 16th. I wonder if there is a picture from then, but it seems recent pictures show him head shaved (maybe an inch of hair or so left). Imagining that those pictures would be from early March at the latest if not earlier, it is possible that once he went missing he never had his hair cut since. A month and a half is enough for his hair to grow to the size show in the suspect pictures.
Still no idea if it's him. I guess height would be a better lead.

Whelp. I took a look. Too much jpeg artifacting & stairstepping around him for that to be real as far as I am concerned. I looked pretty close and I don't see any reason why he'd be the only subject in that photo to have that much artifacting around him. Why/how anyone would want to make a fake is beyond me, but your theory has merit. I'm not saying it is fake, but I am saying in that photo, zoom in real close on the high res one, and you start to find some issues. Is it because he's moving?
Same zoom level, no artifacting on the guy standing next to the door.
Take this all with a grain of salt. I don't truly know what causes jpeg crappyness but photo manipulation is always one culprit.
If they were attempting to change appearance, you'd think the first thing they'd do is lose the hats.
It is most definitely suspect number 2. If it's a shop, then I am speechless.
