Yeah, that's my favorite too. A bit sad it only lasted about seven years, before it was replaced by the first CG Universal logo.

For whatever reason, I associate the 20th century fox fanfare with Star Wars. Must be from the countless times I watched it on VHS as a child. So I have a certain love for that.

Agree on the fox intro. Love the music and makes every film I'm about the watch feel amazing. The Toei 1990's one also brings back fantastic memories

Although as you said in your OP that it wasn't a film studio , THX can go to hell. Absolutely scared me as a child and still does to this day. That fucking music man.
