Weeks 34/35/36/37 it fell off the charts, then sold about the same as MotorStorm; I guess the end of the summer is a slow patch.

Wii fans don't want to know about FIFA08, they must be buying the PS2 version. I can't see 360/PS3 owners buying the PS2 version of the game.

Also, the PS3 should take a dip this week with all the pricedrop and new SKU rumors that were flying around. I'd expect it to happen across all the charts, especially France, Italy and Spain where the rumors and ads seem to be the most.

Aha... that explains why they're almost always next to each other in the charts, and the fairly consistant performance. I wondered what on earth people were seeing in MotorStorm (yeah, it's a good game, but not 'consistently in the top 40' good).

I don't know about UK, but here in Portugal (Sonyland), this game is being heavily advertised and apart from that, it had free publicity when one of the top news program made a journalistic piece about games being more realistic based on Heavenly Swords launch, with videos from the game of course.

I think Motorstorm is a good technical showcase for what the PS3 is capable of. Its a good technical launch window title which Sony themselves are trying to push really hard so its no surprise why its selling well in Europe especially. Sony hit the Jackpot apparently with two new soon to be franchises with both REsistance and Motorstorm. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said about Heavenly sword. Maybe the art style didnt click with most people. Maybe they should hire the god of war guys to do their art style next time and rename the game Godess of War

Quake Wars, baby! Good to see RE4 return, it was in the french charts last week as well. HS is a big bomba, like a lot of people suggested. Maybe it can pick up the pace with the new 40 gig or fares better in NA.

Retailers have better offers on 360 and PS3 than official bundles. Oddly enough, I'm still seeing forced bundles for Wii on the high street, stores will only sell you it if you buy a game with it.

FIFA 08 Wii actually climbed a couple of spots (edit: woops no it never, it fell) ... I've just been playing it today. Its alright... the controls are decent and it looks pretty sharp for a Wii game. I quite like the Footii Party stuff, and that it's online. If Metroid weren't coming so soon and I wasn't so poor I'd probably pick it up.

It does look better on PS3 and 360 though. All that close up stuff sounds great.

Good to see the return of RE4. It deserves legs.
