Crysis 2 PC Demo Comes March 1st [Update: OUT - Press Enter To Begin]

I just got wind of this, going at 1.6 MB a sec. Got about 15 minutes left.

EDIT - Speed seems to be rising, amongst other things :O

And almost at 2mbps!

Holy shit, what kind of rig do you have? I guess they did do a lot of optimization for CryEngine 3 if this is possible now.

well my CPU sucks it only gets 2.4 but my GPU is the GTX 470.

Time to see if I chose wisely with my component choices when building my rig. Feel like i'm about to get the Final Exam.

We shall destroy this thing. You better not be fibbing boy! 4.4ghz 2500k and 6950 to 6970 maxed out OC. I am salivating!
 
So tomorrow this will be on the 360 Marketplace right? Downloading PC Version right now so I can compare. Although my laptop is a peice of shit and every single game, even the shittiest ones, start to drop to single fps after a few minutes, then go back up, then back down. I thought it was due to overheating, but I got a laptop cooler. Still seems to be overheating though, so maybe I got to do some wizardry and have someone fix the inside whatever is making it overheat. Or maybe I can try and figure out what I'm supposed to do =( Sucks because my laptop is actually pretty nice at playing games. I could run Crysis Warhead really good on Gamer with some enthusiast settings toggled. I think that's what killed my laptop though =|

They might have pared back effects for the multiplayer.

Sounds like a RAM issue. Over time, your computer must have collected applications to run at startup, and these are eating your RAM. How much RAM do you have available when your computer is idling?

TY TY TY! I have my DS3 motionjoy'd and rockin the 360 emulator with a BT dongle. Will play this on the couch on my 42" PLASMA!

i5 460 and 5650. I got a smooth framerate on gamer settings. I assume it's close to 30, playable and still looking nice! My laptop feels like it can break down any minute tho :/ even worse than with Mafia 2

Same here. Be sure to change the shoot triggers to R1 :)

And I can run Crysis 1 with everything maxed at about 50fps. This should go well. About 1 minute left.

Well yeah, I have no intention on getting it for PC, I don't have any proper rig to be able to play it on, but it'll be fun just to play around on both. I hope I can fix my laptop up though so I can attempt to play for more than 2min. Maybe I'll go outside and play, hah.

Wait, is that your native resolution? What is your default resolution wwwm0nkey? Also, are you running DX9 or DX11?
 
Game looks fucking amazing. I get 30 FPS it seems on hardcore and advanced, going to test gamer out. What is the order? I'm guessing hardcore is the highest.
