Well except for Call of Duty XD.
Well except for Call of Duty XD.
Ghost sold more on PS4 than Xbone in the UK.
Oh I wasn't aware. I was just going by US sales.
What is it worldwide?

From the NPD release CoD sold more PS4 in US too on release but I think they didn't counted bundles.Oh I wasn't aware. I was just going by US sales.

France is last week chart.Does France not care about Destiny, or The Sims 4 is actually big there?
PS4 sells more granted, but I wouldn't call it comfortable for them when compared to say Germany. It seems to me that Sony are doing very little to win the UK over.
I'm surprised that there is only a 10% difference between the PS4 and XB1 versions of Destiny, since the PS4 numbers include the bundle and Sony had the exclusive market promotion deal.
What should they do? Release Grand Chav Auto PS4 exclusive edition? Bundle it with fish&chips?

5. Some stores had exclusive destiny deals for Xbox One.
It's funny how people can make a platform choice which will last them for 5 years, based on the cost of a single game. You could offer me a bone and every current title for free and if I didn't have a PS4 already I'd still get that first.
Oh you know us so well!
Over the coming weeks would love to see the legs on destiny and compare the sales as both platforms have the bundle for same price

Is that the first week that the PS4 has had more top 50 games than the PS3?
So how is PS4 doing compared to competitor Xbox One in the UK? Eurogamer understands the sales ratio to be 1.5:1, so if PS4 has sold 1m, then Xbox One has sold around 666,666.

That is what is suppose to happen during launch week. It does seem like nice enough bump for a country where Xbones have been available for some time. What has happened to PS4 in Sweeden or to XBO in Sweden.
was there some sort of sale on the Xbox One in Italy this week?
Nope. Why?
Destiny beats the week one sales of Ubisoft's tech-tinged title by 7.5 per cent
Any other figures to be squeezed from that website?
I'm guessing no
Given our estimates about Watch Dogs, we have
Destiny week 1 - 417,100
Destiny PS4 week 1 - 191,866
Destiny One week 1 - 150,156
Destiny 360 week 1 - 58,394
Destiny PS3 week 1 - 16,684
Given Sony-targeted advertising, Xbox One version of Destiny didn't do bad.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-09-22-destiny-tops-uk-chart-for-second-week-runningChart-Track points out that PlayStation 4 continues to enjoy a boost from Destiny's launch; over 72 per cent of the console's sales last week were the Destiny hard bundle.
The latest UK chart is up.Several new releases make their debuts this week but it's Activision Blizzard’s ‘Destiny’ (-78%) that comfortably holds on to top spot for a second week.
The Bungie developed title also continues to give a strong boost to PS4 hardware sales with over 72% of the format being the Destiny hard bundle. It means that ‘Disney Infinity 2.0’ has to settle for No2 in its first week although it's one place higher than the debut of its predecessor. The new Interactive Toys title is also 32% up on the week 1 performance of the original ‘Disney Infinity', which arrived just over a year ago. Wii U exclusive ‘Hyrule Warriors’ developed by Omega Force also arrives at No3.
The new arrivals push last week’s No3 ‘Watch Dogs’ (-23%) down a place to No4, while ‘The Sims 4’ (-41%) drops 3 places to No5. Familiar face ‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ (+12%) holds its position at No6 while ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (-17%) drops from No4 to No7. ‘Minecraft: PS3 Edition’ (+7%) sees a slight boost in sales that pushes it up a place to No8. ‘The Last of US: Remastered’ (-27%) and ‘Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare’ (-16%) both slip down the chart to No9 and No10. Another platform exclusive arrives from Square Enix this week as sequel ‘Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call’ makes its debut on 3DS at No17.
It sold over 400k and it still number one for this week.Destiny down 78% on week 1
Hyrule Warriors enters at number 3 :banderas:
