Nintendo Maintenance/Operational Status Thread

I can't use anything internet wise on the Wii U except for the browser. The European site says everything is all clear but I keep getting different errors constantly for the eShop, Miiverse and system updates. I've done a connection test numerous times and it's saying it's fine so I don't know what the problem is.
Usual monthly maintenance is the one tomorrow. That always ends at 2am my time.

Well, I know things can take a little while to show up on your Club Nintendo account. If there's still nothing by monday, just send a message to customer support :
- explain carefully and precisely what your problem is
- include a proof of purchase
- include a pic of the box, the bottom part with the serial code
- include any information you might find useful
If there's a problem, they'll be able to check everything that needs to be checked with the info you provided. Hope you'll get your stars
Just to follow up on this: my console did show up on my registered products eventually. Things went a lot smoother with the 3DS + free Mario 3D Land (that was a great promotion for new DS owners).
I called Nintendo before noticing the WiiU survey, and they said everything was a bit bonkers after the xmas downtime.
But I don't know why I bothered: the offerings on the EU (Benelux) star catalog are abysmal. No idea what I'm saving for

Yeah, I knew the servers would be all weirded out during the holidays. As for the star catalog, there's usually some cool stuff every now and then, though it's generally better to keep your expectations low if you're expecting OST and such

Noticed the blue light on my 3DS, switched it on and it told me there is a system update. Considered ignoring it for a bit but I decided to get it now any way. The update took the blink of an eye to download and pretty much just asked me to restart my system straight away. I wonder what it did. Probably added some reinforcements to the region locking shit knowing my luck.
I doubt it, there's never been maintenance before a Direct, except for Wii Sports Club last time, but the time was right during the Direct. I doubt there'll be a Direct at 7AM GMT+1 this Tuesday (I wish, though
).Update is really minor (version # just went from 7.1.0-14 to 7.1.0-15), so nothing really. Probably some minor bug fixes or something.
