So, my 4 year old kid is suddenly wanting everything pokemon when we found the pokemon section of Epcot Japan. I've seen a few episodes of a cartoon decades ago, and I know there are video games and maybe an actual card game(?) as well as toys, but where do I begin? Is there a good intro show to start with? What toys/games are for the younger crowd? I grabbed some Pokémon XY off Netflix but that is about it so far.

Throw him some of the old GBA/DS games and/or the cartoons on Netflix or the pokemon.com site. You should be set for a good while after that.

Netflix has the first season (indigo league), but also some of the newer ones as well. Watch that first season. So good.

The games are really fun if you have other people to play them with... But he is 4 lol. He will not really understand the games. Maybe 6+ at least really
