Because Fox is not Warner Bros. - or is it?How is it news that a major media outlet is running advertising for a big movie? Aren't there ads for every movie that comes out all over every major media distribution channel?
Are you saying abc, nbc, fox, etc etc etc only run ads for internally owned properties? I should make a thread about seeing a justice league ad on ESPN because it's owned by Disney which owns marvel??Because Fox is not Warner Bros. - or is it?
Justice League & X-Men crossover confirmed. Dr. Doom will be the villain.

I'm curious why you think social media is different than other ad space in this day and age. What you are referencing is purchased ad space, which is different than a company using its own social channels to put out messages. Its a bit weird to have a competing social media account just throw up a post all willy nilly. That usually isnt done because usually the companies social media makes post geared toward its own products. It is like if Walt Disney World's facebook page made a post about a Universal studios theme park opening. It just isn't typical, because this may mean either a partnership between WB/Fox or something.

I think you're missing something here, 20th Century Fox UK isn't a media outlet or TV channel selling ad slots.
They're a distributor and this is their official Twitter account. So promoting a film they're not distributing (and is actually their competition) is...odd.
Thatd be like a post credits scene for Xmen at the end of a Spiderman film
Their antagonism towards the MCU knows no bounds.

Seems like they let the cat out of the bag too early and are now trying to cover their tracks."Sorry, that page doesnt exist!"
Already gone.
Hacking or what?
20th Century Fox is the film studio, not the TV network.
Wrong Fox.Besides Gotham, Fox produced the 1960s Batman TV show.
Of course the first Marvel/DC movie crossover would be Justice League vs X-Men
