I've yet to buy anything!

Persona 5 and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infnite are the only games that I am dead set getting at launch so far. Maybe Tekken 7.

On the fence with Mass Effect until reviews are out.

Might buy a Switch if Xenoblade 2 actually releases in the west this year, Zelda and Mario alone is not enough.

If I keep at this pace I may actually be able to clear my backlog this year.

I guess depending on how long Zelda takes I don't think I will have time for games like Yooka-Laylee or whatever else I'm interested in until I'm done with it. I don't have a lot of free time for gaming to begin with so I think it's going to take at least a few months. But, that's just my expectation of how long Zelda will take.

And we'll see from there.

Is there any chance of Horizon Zero Dawn coming out on PC? Because that would be nice.

edit - also Sea of Thieves if I can convince friends to get it.

Bought For Honor. Playing it lots.

Gonna buy Ghost Recon Wildlands and play it a bunch too.

I still need to play the first south park game that's been sitting in my steam list for ages, so probably won't get the next one straight away.

I'm trying to keep the list of future purchases as short as possible, but I know it will be really hard with so much games coming the following months.
So far I've pre-ordered Breath of the Wild and waiting for Persona 5 pre-order to grab it too. And these are the games I'm thinking of picking up later down the road:
RE7 (for blind VR playthrough), Nioh, Yakuza 0, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian, Splatoon 2, Mario Odessey, Xenoblade 2(if it releases this year)

Promised myself to buy only one new game per month this year and put the others I'm interested in on my wishlist and then buy them later in case there is month without an interesting release.

So far my plan is something like this:

January: Final Fantasy XV
February: Resident Evil 7

Mai: Yooka Laylee
June: ---- (perhaps Prey?)
July: Crash Bandicoot

The rest is still open.

Figured there is no used buying all shit I'm interested in and then barely playing anything. Rather play a few games extensively. So far it's going as planned. Replayed RE7 4 times already and know the game in and out.

Shenmue 3 (Yeah right! - already paid for through Kickstarter)
Horizon: Zero Dawn (after a price drop)
Ni No Kuni 2

The rest I'll just play by ear. If I have a bit of spare cash burning a hole in my pocket I'll pick something else up.

Thanks to the Best Buy preorder GCU+Visa 25 dollar deal I've preordered almost all of these for only like 30 dollars each or so. The only ones that haven't already been preordered for super cheap are TX (coming soon), Ys 8 (not on the site yet), Trails the 3rd (getting it on Steam) and Wipeout collection (not on the site yet.)

The only currently announced games I need to play this year are Nioh (own it but have yet to play), Zelda, Dark Souls III: The Ringed City, Sonic Mania, Crash Bandicoot, ARMS, Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Odyssey. Anything else that looks interesting will get played if I have the extra time and money.

Here's my breakdown. I'm trying to embrace the many, many great games I have now and less so the stuff that's coming down the pipe of unknown quality.

So far I've bought and finished Resident Evil 7 and Gravity Rush 2.

Rest of the year isn't super crazy for me as my tastes are narrower than most on here.

Horizon, Mass Effect and Zelda are probably my next three in that order.

Then maybe the Kingdom Hearts ports or Persona 5.

Beyond that, I'm honestly not sure. Mario if I get a Switch this year. Maybe RDR2 (never played the first and don't have a platform to play it on--tried PS Now and hated it). Probably a racing game if I dont' sell my wheel set up) (GT or Forza 7).

Otherwise, I just haven't paid much attention to what's actually coming out the latter half of the year yet.
