We all wondered, how there Mr. Satan will be like and I have to say, it's pretty disappointing so far.
Nothing they make him say, isn't something, the original Mr. Satan wouldn't say (who can't see Mr Satan trying to sell Action Figures). It shows, how hard it is to make a parody of a good comedic character and so far there is no interesting twist here.
Maybe this was just a setup for the character and there changes come in the next videos.

Yeah. I have to agree. The funniest part was his response to Cells personal attacks. Which does, hopefully, point to his realization of how dire the situation is being the best part of his character.
Not going to lie, Buu seems too long to do without fatigue. Part of me hopes they just fast-forward it & move onto something else. Maybe something original?
Speaking of fast-forwarding, are they just going to cut Mr. Satan out now? That throw seemed far more fatal than the canon one, & they cleared out the other challengers, too.
Nice! Glad to see Xander's still getting work; I definitely see him continuing to get more and more roles.
I'm still hoping for Alucard. Twice a year is so much better, but I need more.
Side-note, I really appreciate that Tweet about how "the devil's in the details" for the next Cell Vs.; I think people guessed every Satanic anime character before realizing the episode order meant he fought Mr. Satan next.
A lot of the Buu arc can be greatly condensed. Plot points take far too long to advance for no real reason other than they need to kill time. Even the Kai version takes too long with certain things so far. Everything from it's opening to the start of the tournament can be done in two (maybe 3) episodes. Then another two (at the very most) until everyone flys off to fight Buu. One episode for the three fights before Goku vs Vegeta then one more to cap the fight, release Buu and Vegeta's sacrifice. That's like 6 episodes for what's the entire opening of the arc.

I don't know why people were so hyped to see him. As mentioned already, Satan was initially created as comic relief. You can't really do much more in terms of parody with a joke character. After all, there's a reason the funniest people in TFA's series are the ones who were initially serious, straight laced characters (Piccolo, Vegeta, Guru, 16, etc.)

None of their other content even fractionally approaches DBZ Abridged save maybe Hellsing (which is a short series to begin with), and they need to keep the cash cow going to keep their Patreon numbers up and direct interest to other money-making ventures.
We haven't even hit the parts where Mr. Satan really hits his stride in the show, where he realizes how completely outclassed he is. We're still at the point where he thinks he's the best. So we're really not seeing his full character yet.

The Ginyu force were pretty great in abridged, and they're pretty silly.

The "I am the hype" scene makes so much more sense now. Vegeta is basically seeing an exaggerated version of himself and how ridiculous he acts.
This was in my opinion much easier, since they could take the light joke and simply turned it up to eleven. Also many of the characters didn't had much personality and there was still a lot of opportunity of them exchanging dialog. It was a gold mine.
But Mr. Satan has an already establish character and the series already uses him well to light up the fight very serious fight and have an commentator around. TFS will properly use him in a similar way and maybe they can write much more funnier dialog. Another way would be making Mr. Satan into a Donald Trump parody, since he basically screams "Fake Effects" through the whole battle and at the end takes all the glory.
Let's see, where they take him.

Fucking murder me right now.
There needs to be a moment where Vegeta sees Mr. Satan constantly ranting about how full of it Cell is and how he could easily beat him and Vegeta has a "Holy shit, is that what I sound like?!" moment.
Also, it sounds like Yamcha is voiced by somebody else. He didn't sound as close to the original English dub.

Vegeta already had that moment, hence the "KILL HIM!"
Considering "Kill Him", this might be a way for character development for tfs vegeta
Also no Trump characters, i'm fine with some jokes here and there and fine when political light night hosts do it, i don't need a whole trump parody we are all going get sick of it even gaf.

It's kinda been there subtly. Episode 30 has them but not to an extreme like recently.
I think it only just started traction with the Broly movie, back when the funny subs Wwere the DEFAULT subs until they switched over to Canada.

When something gets that big it makes more sense to partner with them. Not to fruitlessly try to shut them down.
It'd be different if they were tarnishing DBZ or something, like porn, or releasing Super content and cross competing. It's dumb. Sign a deal, monetize that shit, and take a cut. It's free money, and advertising, for them.

Same old song and dance everytime. Seems to be a common thread across japanese companies.
Toei just needs to accept that Abridged is just as important to DBZ as the show itself at this point. Maybe make them unofficially official or something.
Funimation kinda already did that, Toei just needs to follow suit.

They started streaming Persona 5 on their gaming channel like 2 days ago, and then a day later they get a strike on DBZA. Maybe Atlus got someone to do it, lol.
Japan is overall very big on sending out stuff like this, not just Toei. Look at Nintendo and how bad they are for example.
Or Atlus and the recent stream controversy.
